So maybe these people telling you were unfortunate sods like me!
Me too! I was soooo embarrassed to find out that I was doing it wrong, I had never thought about it and same as you green mama no one ever told me! In my case the UTIs got so bad I ended up with scar tissue on my uretas and then severe kidney infections, to the point where I was hospitalised multiple times.
So to answer the op's question, unfortunately no it's not obvious for everyone but I'm glad I found out before having DD.

For me it is not possible. My arms are disproportionately short so there is no way in a pink fit I could reach behind.

    All I see is squares.

As to the op.. I wipe separately, front section and back.. I don't know why or how I'd do it at the same time. I'm pretty sure Mum told me to wipe front to back but I never did. It seems really wierd to me.

    .
I do the same! Seems weird to wipe wee over my butt, so yeah, I wipe the front and then wipe the back separately. I do the same with DD and will teach her to do it separately too. Feels wrong to do it all in one go.

Me too. Front first, then back.
