He almost had me convinced! But I just couldn't see a baby or child being called that

I think we have decided on Brodie George.
Dh and I like old names, but always at the last minute change our minds.
Dd we decided the day before and ds we decided in the car in between contractions hahaha

Thanks again for all the replies!!

we went through something similar when DS was coming. DH wanted Leonard (Lenny for the nick name). Problem is, our last name sounds very similar to Lenny. I suggested we use it as a middle name. He was happy with that.

Turns out we didnt end up using it but he was still happy.

I like it. Better than a top ten name or a made up name!

First thing I thought of was Longbottom too, and I'm not even a huge Harry Potter fan, have only watched the movies on tv.

Brodie is adorable, much better choice

The funny thing is, the main reason I don't like it is because a friend of mine had a working dog named Neville.
And all I can think of is her yelling across the paddock at this stupid dog "Neville! NEVILLE!! You useless son of a....(insert profanities here) " haha
He was a 'special' sort of a dog

No I don't like it either I'm sorry. I've always really liked the name Nigel though which is kind of the same.
