    harvest, do you mean to tell me that during the 6 months you dont just adjust to the new time at all? it still feels like getting up early?

    I don't adjust at all. I have spent most of my life so far living in QLD where for the majority of time there has been no daylight savings. Maybe that's why it's so painful?

    that must def be it then. daylight savings on and off is all ive ever known, takes me 2 weeks and im fine

    So glad it's over!! Today has been a nightmare. DS woke at what would have been his normal time of around 6.30am but it was only 5.30...makes for a very long day.

    I find it annoying that it's not country wide this daylight savings. It's such a hassle when trying to arrange social functions up here in QLD because most of the family is in NSW. Then when calling my parents, gotta be mindful of the time and us to me. Just stupid!!
    Ice always said for QLD esp peak tourist times, it would be worth having DST because more ppl would stay out longer and later so would bring in more money to the areas.
