Bedlover - heard that the humidifiers are great when kids have colds so if you have one for Remy try that in DS room when he sleeps!

LMM - rant perfectly understandable and not really a rant sounds like your actually balancing it really well with two!

Ngaiz sorry about the mastitis, have heard it's pretty awful. I was worried I may be getting it but instead have picked up a virus. Had been breaking out into cold sweats in bed every night but my breast were still fine, no pain or anything. In the end developed nasty cough so took myself and bubs to doctor yesterday. Feel sorry to be taking her so little, she seems to have not picked up anything from me, thank god!
Jj I know, I felt awful taking her to doctors yesterday, especially sitting in that festy waiting room. But at least we both had a check up. I had concerns about a wheezing breathing sound she makes anyway doctor said it's still that fluid that babies have in their lungs at birth. So it put my mind at ease.
Berry brooder my baby wouldn't turn either, in the end she was in the frank breech position. She was pulled out of my tummy with her legs wrapped above her head. (We think she is going to be a contortionist when she grows up.)We chose not to do the ECV after weighing up the pros and cons.
bedlover I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels nostalgia about pregnancy. I look back on it fondly as it was such a special time for baby and me. I really do miss it, pains and all.
Jay funny about squirting milk in eyes of baby! The maternity nurse told me same, she said to squirt milk in babies nose to clean it out.

Exciting to think lots of you ladies are celebrating your first Mother's Day and next year we will all have our precious bubs!

To all the great mums out there, the mums-to-be and the mother figures in our lives - Happy Mothers Day!

Had a lovely call from my sis & her family singing Happy Mothers Day to me even though Junior hasn't been born yet but it was lovely to think next year I will be a mum .

But after a journey like ours I am also very aware that today is a hard day for those who are trying to be mums or who have lost mums - so I send out extra hugs their way as I know today can be hard!

So happy to be able to wish all of you a very happy Mother's Day!!!

This time last year we were in Bali celebrating our first wedding anniversary (our 2nd is tomorrow) and awaiting our first appointment with the FS. How I would have loved to get a sneak peak at today with my gorgeous girl snuggled up beside me as I write this

I hope everyone has a great day!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY LADIES! I hope everyone has a wonderful day! I still feel like I'm dreaming when I look at Mia

The conjunctivitis is clearing which is great. We got the antibiotic eye drops you mentioned Bedlover.. Thanks I didn't see your message until after we'd been to the doctors but doesn't matter.. My GP got to meet Mia and she was so excited to meet her! Yes Jay the nurse told me breast milk helps as well as 1/4 teaspoon of salt in 150ml of cooled boiled water. Wipe once and discard the cotton wool/pad and use a new one. It is highly contagious. The antibiotics take 24-48 hours to clear it. It's apparently very common in newborns as their tear ducts may be blocked. DH has to put the eye drops, I can't do it... I'm such a chicken with things like that.. She gets so distressed, poor Bubs
