ABH, congrats on the birth of your baby boy. If we had a boy Ray was going to be the middle name after DH's grandfather. All the best for a speedy recovery.

Thanks ann. They filmed the day after our horror day/night. Was sooooo exhausted but thankful for a tired, happy bubba.

Congrats ABH and welcome to your little Ray!

Bedlover- I have to agree about the chiro- I thought it would just be on mum but I don't think I'd be ok with trying it on my baby... I couldn't find much on google either

Ann- sounds horrible! Hang in there!!!

Ann - junior did a similar thing to me he was on my spine a few weeks back try to relax I ended up sleeping sitting up but baths help settle them down. Midwife and OB said other then trying different positions & warm bath nothing more could be done and to just remember active is good even apparently super active that hurts and doesn't let you sleep! If you need a drink don't drink hot, cold, sweet or acidic as all made him more hypo just sip room temp water.
Hope he gets back into a better position really soon for you! Hugs

Oh wow lots, I wish I got to see it! Abigail looks gorgeous

Panda the problem is I can't wake her up in the afternoon, she's out cold!! I undress her, change her nappy, I even expressed and gave that to her and she just woke to drink it and then was asleep again. I expressed 80mls and gave it to her an hour ago and she's now screaming and starving!! It really is hard work.. I'm so tired now, I really need to start having arvo naps to make up for it Thank goodness DH gets up to try and settle her to give me a break. He's been wonderful.

Congrats ABH on the safe arrival of Ray!!! Hope you have a nice and quick recovery from the c section.

Maternal health nurse came today and Mia has put on 130 grams which is great! All this feeding has paid off! Next weigh in is on Tuesday.. Hopefully she'll be back to her birth weight then or at least close too.

Congrats ABH and welcome baby Ray

Ngaiz - I have mastitis too, got anitbiotics for it and found the best relief in-between expressing is an ice-pack, it's almost instant. The doctor said the best thing to help is to really empty each (.) at every feed or express and do it at regular intervals, don't let too many hours go by. Cold cabbage leaves are s'posed to be very good too. I try to have a warm shower just before I express which helps also. The pain is awful and is excruciating when my milk lets down. I'm lucky to have caught it early so is just bearable.

Dh flew back to work yesterday and my Mum stayed with us last night. Tonight will be my first night alone with Erin
