Wonderful news HWaterhouse. Sounds like you had a very good and joyful experience overall. Once again, the main thing is that baby is here safe and sound! The whole birthing thing can be se traumatic.
Amps you sound so much more at peace. Great to hear you sounding happier.

Amps, so glad you spoke to a midwife who isn't judge mental. It can make the world of difference can't it? Sounds like with expressing and top up feeds you're doing the best possible thing...nothing to feel guilty about.

Anyone got any tips for dealing with windy babies and sleep?

Went to register Abigail's birth today. If you go in you can get it in 5 days, otherwise it's 5 weeks. We need to apply for her passport (as we're visiting NZ in September) and want to sort it out.

Also a move in states is on the cards in the next few months so trying to tick off these jobs.
    It's all happening.

Lots I find that if I've held Annabel a certain way for burping for a fair while, sometimes all it takes is a change of position to release the gas. I also find alternating between patting and rubbing her back works best. I also make her have regular breaks during a feed for burping. You can try bicycle legs and raising knees to belly to help bub release from the bottom end!

Hi lots, DS was really colicky and had reflux and I found infants friend from the chemist worked wonders. I actually think you can get it at Coles these days as well. We would give DS the drops and he would settle pretty much straight away.
    Good luck
