Congrats to all the new additions. Such beautiful babies!! Will have to get on the pc and upload pics of Emerson soon.

Little E is almost on her way out of 0000's and into 000. She's beefing it on super quick and can't believe its two weeks today.

Would be interested to see what I weigh.

Definitely hear you on the tiring task of bf. we seem to have a night pattern emerging, but day times are non stop fussing and feeding and not wanting to be put down. She's quite windy and spewy compared to what dd was too.

    Hope all are well.

Veritas love Emerson for your daughters name ... thought my baby brain was playing tricks on me as I thought I must have forgotten that that was her name even though it didn't sound familiar .. but then checked roll call and saw it still just said baby girl. Congrats on picking a name

sounds like all you mummies are doing fantastically no-one ever says it's easy so everytime you feel like your going to hit a wall ... remember it's actually only a hurdle ... And even though you are tired once you get over it you have some time till the next but every hurdle is one closer to another finish line /milestone so every hurdle is an achievement in itself!

It's really helpful and interesting to hear how everyone else is going with their little bundles of joy.
look forward to hearing about the next batch of babies. Who is next on the list to go?
We came home from hospital today. It was like living in a bubble, I actually quite enjoyed the whole experience and found the nurses and midwives absolutely amazing. I could have stayed an extra day willingly, though DH was really looking forward to returning home.
So far we had one really bad night with little V but every baby in the ward cried all night that particular night. I had fed her at 2 am and she was still crying at 3am so I gave her another feed. When I called the midwife she said sometimes they need a top up and I was doing the right thing. That night she didn't settle till 5 am. Anyway we ended up getting her a dummy because she was trying to suck anything she could get her mouth on that night!
The last 2 nights have been totally different. I've tried to wake her for feeds and she just wants to sleep.
My milk started coming in yesterday which was day 4. I had a midwife express some colostrum yesterday morning into a syringe so we could give her a top up as her weight was a little down. Interesting how they squeeze it out of your nipples, I really have a new found respect for the job these women do.

Lotsa, I totally agree with everything you wrote about bf , I could have written that post! I had a terrible night with Matthew last night. He was up and down roughly every hour and I also think it was wind related as he seemed to be in pain. He has been pretty unsettled today as well although had a big sleep this afternoon. It can be really hard and in the early hours last night, I was really struggling. He feeds and goes to sleep pretty easily in the day but is awake all night.

After my worry about Matthew's weight, I spent two days really feeding him heaps. When i reweighed him yesterday, he had put on 90g in 2 days, compared to 80g the previous week. So, 2 weeks after his birth he was 40g under his birth weight which I think is ok. I'll be weighing him regularly though and watching his gain.

So much has happened this week!
Big congrats to HamptonK on baby Zeke - glad to have another boy join the roll call. Sorry to hear you had a hard time of it. Hope you have recovered ok now.

Remy is such a cutie Bedlover! Congratulations on your baby girl.

Awesome news on your baby girl Violetta Panda. Hope you are feeling better now. It's totally different being home isn't it?

So excited for you JJ- good luck on Monday.

I am struggling with bf too Lots. I express and we feed from a bottle and top up if needed with formula. We have trouble latching and I just kept breaking down so DH and I decided to do what works for us and not worry about what we 'should' do. Haven't really discussed it with maternal nurse either as don't want to get judged.
DH is going back to work on Monday and truthfully I am v nervous about being alone.

Tks for keeping role Ngaiz! Baby girls are definitely out numbering the boys so guess they'll win April unless they start popping over last few April days left ... but hopefully more boys are born in May

So from my calculations using the 18Feb Rolecalls Gender Tally of:
    BOYS 🚹 - 9
    GIRLS 🚺 - 6
And their were 23 unknown sexes:
    🚻 SURPRISES x16 & 7x???

We now have 7 of the 23 revealed as:
    Boys 🚹=2 &
    Girls 🚺=5

    Grand total thus far:
    Boys 🚹=11
    Girls 🚺=11
    🚻 SURPRISES &??? = 16

First antenatal class today. Will possibly be getting a tour of the Birthing & Assessment Suite this morning. Should be an interesting experience.

ETA:- Have to wait for the last class in 2 weeks for the tour, unfortunately. Ran out of time today. I was looking forward to that.
