Bedlover thanks for that information. I definitely don't want to go into early labour! That's why I thought I'd ask you girls, hadn't heard anyone stimulating breasts before cs. And didn't feel right doing something that hadn't been recommended by a medical professional. What day are you going in for your csection?
Hwaterhouse that's a big baby. Ive heard those measurements are often wrong. Interesting that so far no one on here has gone into labour without a cs or induction. I wonder if you will be the first one?
    Manchester lass gorgeous baby, congratulations!

Huge congrats to Veritas and Manchester on the birth of your treasures. Veritas, hope pain has eased and you're feeling better. Manchester, thanks for the goregous pic!

Thanks also Catlover for your bump pic!

Arlais, great you and Annabel are now home.

Simpson - enjoy your last week of work. Yay for being a short week.

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Feeling more pressure at the bottom of my big bump now..hmm..could that be the baby 'dropping'??

October - sorry you've had a stressful day with breastfeeding and monitoring output. Its good that you're still in hospital though so you have lots of help around you. Fingers crossed its all sorted in next day or two, or at least before you go home. Take care

I am booked in for next Wednesday (so just over a week away) but have been having pre-labour contractions for a while now so no idea on what will end up happening. My contractions are painful and regular but just don't progress beyond a couple of hours. Have been googling like mad and it seems to be quite common. It also seems to happen more if I am lying down - all very strange.

So one way or another I will have a baby in 9 days!!

Bedlover you could go in before me. I'm having very little to mild cramps, very infrequently. I'm finding this last bit very uncomfortable. Can't sleep properly and every which way I turn in bed just hurts. It's a waiting game now.

Part of me would love to go into spontaneous labour and the other part says "stick to the plan"! I am glad I have got to feel a contraction so at least I have some idea what it is like (not suggesting these are anything as full on as full blown labour but better than nothing at all).

In all honesty though I don't think I will go early and c section will go ahead as planned. We will have bubbas a couple of days apart!!
