I watch this thread sorry for popping in just wanted to say that when I tested with an opk and was pregnant it was stark white, not a thing, but I got a faint bfp the same lot of fmu. So this doesn't work for everyone I guess

Ok @ jenjenOo mostly hehe. I did today's test at 11dpo and it's darker! Definitely ringing and booking in to the dr tomorrow to get bloods. Feels all so surreal atm. I think my rational side is still trying to keep calm to protect myself from more disappointment. This cycle brought us to 18mths TTC.

I started in dec 2012 so, I can totally relate! I'm also the same as you, nervous as hell.
This was my first ivf cycle. I couldn't have hoped for a better result.

Get your bloods done! I want to find out your EDD!!

a few people said doing OPKs - I've tried them throughout this cycle and never had a positive result (testing twice a day); only a line close to the test line but never stronger. I've read that OPKs don't work for a lot of people because you need to reach a certain peak to get a positive result and not everyone reaches it even if they're ovulating so I'm not too sure how reliable they actually are

Hehehe thank you so much. Thats so good that you got it first try. It sounds like such an emotional rollercoaster as it is with IVF let alone doing it multiple times...definitely admire you and all of those ladies. I think I will be due end of Jan

Yeah I actually didn't get a full-on positive OPK last month either, but I find it's great when you've done OPKs AND checked your CM AND done your BBT temps and plugged them into Fertility Friend or something like that. If you're having trouble pinpointing ovulation, a chart could help because maybe your temperatures can show when you are ovulating, or if you're having anovulatory cycles then you can go to the doc and get it checked out.
