shabbychook and Addicted to Love I have added you both!

@c386 all sounds very exciting and promising!! Hope it’s a little settling in.

@Oliveaux I definitely hear that withdrawals from SSRIs aren’t great! My sister complains about getting "the zaps” when she tries to lower her dose. Anxiety is really annoying, I know! FX you can settle on a situation that works well for you and bub.

And it’s good to get a head start on the OPKs anyway, a faint line is negative but it’s good to watch it get darker and keep BDing every second day until you get a positive! If you wait til it gets dark sometimes you can miss a few very valuable days of DTD.

Haha, SORRY! They are so annoying when you time them wrong, forget to test, and never see a dark line. But when you do see a line they sure are satisfying! It’s a tough call.

So sorry Rainbow, that must be really hard. I’ve taken you off.. hope things don’t take too long to get back to a good place for you. x

That’s awesome! Hopefully you’re just as lucky again and don’t have to worry about it at all then

AFM I haven’t gotten a full positive on the OPK yet, but going off past tests (I kept all my tests from the time I got UTD taped into a book — maybe a bit creepy but totally useful) I can see the pattern and I reckon I’ll get a pos tonight.

Have BDed yesterday and today, will do tomorrow and MAYBE Monday and then that’s it. Luckily for me DH is basically a DTD machine and would BD twice a day if I asked for it. So I am blessed in that regard.. although usually it’s annoying

Ahhh re: $$$! It's a tough one isn't it. I am more the problem than the hubby. However we have thrown ourselves in so deep saving for our future bub we sometimes forget we still should live!
I too have been feeling very tired today and feel like I could easily have a nap.

@elswyth - I caved and did an OPK a couple of hours back. Half strength line, so thinking I might have a textbook CD14 O. Didn't get to DTD last night as we had an unexpected overnight guest, but will try for tonight and Monday morning with luck.

@curlybird - I am feeling tired too and was just considering a nap myself!

I'll have to see my GP once I get BFP and we'll probably make a more detailed plan but the basic plan is low dose (10mg) for 1st and 2nd trimester then coming off it entirely before the 3rd. I'd rather not take my anti-ds at all (lexapro) as its a class c drug tho research shows the main issue is withdrawal for the bub after its born, but its one of those difficult situations where there's pros and cons either way sadly.Reading up more on OPKs, I think faint lines are actually neg cos the hormone measured is present most of the time and just spikes before O? So perhaps I got a bit excited too soon lol and charting is turning out to be more difficult than I anticipated since different charts are giving me different O dates. ATM it appears to be anything from the 28th Arpil to the 2nd of May!! That might mean we miss the best times to babydance this weekend as its the long weekend, though we'll try tonight (despite negative OPK) and hopefully get a chance on monday too! Then Wed and Fri next week. That *should* cover my fertile period i think? I guess we shouldn't get too concerned, its our first month of TTC and charting so things will get easier when we have more info established with my cycles and stuff. Trouble is, getting preg is all I think about atm!!
This is what I have done twice. When trying for dd I went from 20mg if lexapro, down to ten, then to 5. Did it before I got PG in the end as it took so long to get KU. Had to start taking them again due to PND, but did the same thing when we started trying this time. I was told they were safe but didn't want to take chances.

I got the zaps a lot. Just this weird out of body experience and was quite tired. It didn't cause any depression symptoms at all though. Let me know if you have any questions for someone who has done it. Happy to help/support.

Pos opk this morning. Woohoo. Also went shopping. Bought a Tommy Hilfiger top and between sales and a gift card it only cost $35, bargain! DH came with me and didn't complain or tell me off once! Mind you all I bought for myself was the top, everything else was birthday presents. Was fun shopping for my 2yo cousins birthday. Even DH was was enjoying looking at all the baby/toddler clothes. Normally he just rolls his eyes at me, but he was getting in on it and giving me opinions on what I should buy haha. He's happy though, he got to buy his special whiskey glasses. Good day all around. Now just to work up the energy to dtd! I'm pooped!

I'm wondering what's happening for me too, OPKs were only getting lighter today so either I missed the positive yesterday or it was just a pre-surge surge.. Gah who knows! If I missed the pos yesterday then I must have O'd today, CD11. Seems v early.

I wish I knew but it doesn't really matter cos we DTD the past 3 days and then 2 days before that. Should be safe — but I just really like knowing when I O'd! Boohoo though, not a real problem I guess
