@miissalina I only made first contact with specialist today hun, waiting for paperwork and then to book phone consultation. I would prefer blood test if possible.

For me it was used to support my short luteal phase... so I had it for trigger then 3 shots for booster. As it supports the luteal phase it also tricks the body to produce progesterone.

@miissalina Hello! I had pregnyl as my booster and then three more shots in between the ET and BT. It also helps to thicken the lining to give the embie the best chance of implanting. Be careful of POAS too early as it can give a false positive. Do you get your NK results back today? @Rice how are your embies going? FX for great numbers @babygirl7 how are you going hun? @Bongley how are you going?

    Hi everyone

I used pregnyl as a booster after transfer but it exacerbated my OHSS so I was put on crinone. I've also used it to help egg quality, now I use a little Ovadrel

I've been really slack this time around, I think I'm so used to doing everything that I haven't kept on top of the paperwork. Doh. Forgot to pay for my cycle, forgot to hand in some forms, lost my puregon pen, was late to pick up my meds. Anyway, all sorted now and I just started jabbing today. Hurrah.

I've just got over 4 weeks of bronchitis so I'm feeling great, ha. My skin has only just cleared up from the last lot of jabs. Oh well.

how are you doing @Molros ?

    Good luck everyone!

Hi everyone, sorry I have been missing for a while! Tbh I've been kinda trying to pretend that this whole ivf thing doesn't exist for the last week or so after the last disappointment.
@katiana I'm really sorry that your last FET was unsuccessful and will be keeping my fingers crossed that your last transfer brings you bubba no 3. I feel quite encouraged to read that both you and rice have had to have many transfers before success. I'm sure it must have been hellish for you at the time but it just shows that you shouldn't give up.
@Rice are u still waiting for testing results?

Melissina - I get pregnyl for trigger when on FET plus 4 boosters. I understand that boosters help with progesterone levels and therefore extend leutal phase. I use crinone for progesterone on fresh cycles but I understand that during a fresh cycle you have more follicles which will be producing progesterone anyway so there should be less requirement for progesterone support if that makes sense.

Bongley - good luck! I've even jabbing since Monday too x

@Dreamer123 I know what you mean. I came across a site that had a list of IVF successes and their details (meds, type of regulation etc) and 90% of them were from the 1st or 2nd transfer. I was so gutted and demoralised (I was on my 4th by then) but having been on bub hub for a while I've seen signatures indicating women being successful on 6th, 10th, even 18th cycle. I wish I had seen those, I was ready to give up pretty early on.

@Bongley - I know. I think a lot of people give up after 2 or 3 cycles so that must skew the stats a bit..
