    Default Games of Thrones

What I'm struggling to understand is how the lannisters (and tyrells), with all their power and armies, who won some great wars, are allowing a little old man and a few religious nuts take control and throw their precious queen/queen mum into prison? And just do nothing? It makes no sense!!!! I hated Joffery but I hate their current ****weak king almost as much.

I'd say it's because the general population hate the Lanisters now Tywin is dead ( they were scared of him) and all now know Tommen is really Jamies son and not the real king ( remember how they treated him when he first went to try free Margery's brother ( I think they all even yelled out ba$tard) and if anyone sent in the guards they would risk Margery and Cersei getting killed so there is not much that can be done - plus his uncle is now the Kings hand and he hates Cersei so he won't help

I think it's just a time fill until one of the others finally steps up and kicks the lanisters out of the capital and takes the crown. It's not the best story line.

Edit: I agree with pp. As for the reasons for not doing anything.

If it was from the books you may not need to worry, some stories on the show are now very different from
    the stories in the books.

I hate when that happens. 😭
Here's hoping that they leave that out. I read one about lady stark that they better not do.

It was from the books. I have a feeling it is something that will happen though...

I read that one about Lady Stark too Sookie. I hope they don't include that in the series too!

    Delete on second thoughts.
Might be too much of a spoiler clue
