Basically nothing will prepare you. Just keep strong, keep it to plan, go with the flow, trust the careers they do know how to look after your bub. My tip, they may not do it the way you do it but that's ok...

Pack and prepare as much as you can the night before and write a list of the things you need to pack in the morning. That will make your mornings smoother. Agree with the PP - trust the carers. I was surprised and a bit annoyed after my daughters first day at daycare that her shirt had food on it and she smelt like food, but really, who cares? She had a full tummy, she had fun and was cared for, that's all that matters. Be prepared that your little one may not sleep very well at daycare for the first few weeks as he/she adjusts to sleeping in such a different environment (3 months later, mine still only has 1 sleep at daycare but has 2 at home). Have a few dinners in the freezer ready for bub, I know most daycare days, my daughter is exhausted and needs to eat dinner, have her bath and go to bed as soon as we get home. She can't wait the extra 30 minutes for me to cook something.

Good luck and enjoy getting back to work! 3 days is a great balance, I hope you love it :-)

Get everything ready the night before. Utilise a morning on the weekend to make bulk meals for a few nights during the week so you don't have to cook every night.
