Wow, busy thread here this morning. I had my first US and everything is on track so far.
@blossom1 oh god, I love port (and choc of course). Its getting to that time of year isn't it? I've lost a bit of weight lately by chowing down on egg whites and chicken. High protein to keep you feeling full but low in calories.
@KayzB & @francesthecat so frustrating! When my period didn't arrive for 8 weeks I went mental (I normally have a 28-34 day cycle), I should have spoken to the nurses earlier, I just figured I must have skipped a period but then when the second didn't arrive .......provera sorted me out.

Congrats @Motherwillbe what a great result! Yes, get some rest you don't want to be lifting a kiddy around at this time. Gotta love daycare. to you and @nightchild80 for your monday transfer
@nvandmv its difficult not to comfort eat at a time like this but when you are constantly on the IVF roller coaster it can really go to your hips! I was sick after my last cycle for a month and couldn't exercise, it really got me down.
@Butterfly39 yes, loving this cooler weather, makes exercising so much easier.
@Sareeb77 yay ! I will be PUPO with you this time next week.

    to everyone else

So it was a waste of time taking my toe nail polish off they said I could have kept it on

On the other hand EPU was fine I was a little upset but I think it was more the embarrassment of having my *** hanging out walking into the operating theatre. They wrote on my hand 9 so I was a little upset, then the lady next to me only got 6 so then I felt bad for her. My FS didn't do the egg collection her husband did he was lovely.

@Wishing88 you should have handed them the polish and made them paint your toenails while they were down there. 9 sounds great! Do you normally get more than that? for fertilisation tomorrow

@Bongley this was my first EPU, I think I will be able to paint them myself later I feel really good, unless it takes a while to hit you.

Oh I thought it may have been, that's a pretty good haul! It can take a while to hit. I felt great after my nov EPU and then nearly puked when I got home, had to lie down for a while. Its due to the meds, if they've used a fair amount it can make you vom. Last time in Feb I was fine, the EPU wasn't as painless but I think it was a good balance.
