@francesthecat - pred makes u gain a lot of fluid but also turns you into a chomp monster I think. My FS has actually asked me to gain around 5kg for this cycle so I'm nomming everything - looks like its fat pants this winter haha. I'm kind of on long down reg but without the pill beforehand as it seems to give me a hypertensive crisis. @BooBoo - I'm on 3mg too of the saizen but on cd 22, and then during the cycle I think on alternate days ... I agree the melatonin has improved my sleep so much and I actually feel a lot better on it. Don't worry about the mixing its easy...
Hi folks, appealing to the lovely experienced ivf girls for insight as to what may have happened. It's looking like fet will be cancelled this month 😞 booooo. Basically i was getting faint positives for a week now, bloods on Monday showed no lh surge, or progesterone rise. The lines on opk seem to be lighter again so they sent me for another lh test and progesterone test and lh is lower than Monday now and my progesterone is only 6. My follie would be at least 24mm now based on scans a week ago. Fs wants to cancel if progesterone hasn't risen tomorrow, describing it as a funny cycle after stimming. The question is, what's happening?! Did i or didn't i ovulate?! So confused by what it means and why it's canceled. But ok for that to happen as i really have been tired and headachy.
Hi @blossom1, my FS told me some time ago that he thinks ovulation predictor kits are rubbish because the lh surge is so short that its too easy to miss it, so maybe the same with the blood tests?. Also, I was under the impression that progesterone only started after follicles had ruptured and you had ovulated. Maybe O has come and gone ?
blossom1 your vivid description made me laugh
But sorry to hear it might be cancelled hun.
If FS does cancel, would you still do your next one as natural or consider medicated? xx
