Hi Snowy, i've had 2 laps and hist. before as well as a couple of scratches and never a hint of implantation. I know my nkc is i think my biggest problem. I've been on Dex this year but unfortunately no fertilization to test it out.

Nidhulaine, yes i think you're right I think i'll be told I need ivig.....where is that money tree!

Hopefully, stay positive, do you have an appointment with Dr M? He is the master of immune issues and he will put you on the right protocol. I wasted 2yrs, 8 cycles and $$$$$ because FS's do not specialise in our immune issues.

@Miss Sagi - thanks... No i haven't made an appointment with dr m as yet - hubby and I have agreed to give the bondi protocol 2 cycles and see what happens... If nothing post those 2 cycles then I will definitely make an appointment... Fs is happy to discuss the nk cells and would support me going to dr m if I wanted to which I was pretty happy about!!! Fingers crossed I don't need to make that appointment!!!!

    Good luck with everything

Precious... unfortunately it is definitely over as AF arrived today. It was actually a 6dt - the morula was frozen on d5, but was taken out the day before ET and grown an extra day to blastocyst, so technically 6dt.

This evening I saw Dr M - the things he's changed for next FET - increase Clexane to 60 per day (I did a couple of cycles at 20, then a couple of cycles at 40, now he says to do 60 - sigh, why wasn't I just given 60 in the first place?!!) and like this cycle start Clexane a week before ET, don't worry with aspirin as the increased Clexane will cover that, have 400 progesterone pessaries for the FET even though FS says it's not needed (I did self medicate with 90 crinone this cycle as I still had some of that left over from a previous cycle), and do the IVIG 7 days before ET, as this time I did it just 2 days before ET. I queried about only having intrallipids/IVIG only on Saturdays, as this doesn't always fit in 7 days before a transfer, and he indicated that he does sometimes do it on other days. I got the feeling that he's realising that this timing is important, and maybe if everyone pushes this with their Dr M consultations, that he may offer this twice a week to cater for our ETs. I think this will be a big step, but an important one. He wouldn't do dex, primarily because IVFA only tested for three of the NKCs, and though my 56+ is high, they didn't test 57+ and apparently the ratio between those two are important. So, I will be asking for IVFA to now re-do the NKC and include 57+ in it. So, if you are with IVFA, ask for a day 21 NKC biopsy which includes both 56+ and 57+.

Oh MGC Bertie I'm so sorry.... you are doing everything right and everything you possibly can... Great you have a new plan, I really hope the next one is your time. Dr M is doing same clexane dose & start with me too - great about getting your ivig at 7 days... I'm always struggling with the Saturday timing too... How completely dumb that ivfa didn't test CD 57, what the?! Genea did mine & seemed to get it right although the activation wasn't tested, not sure if the do that in Oz though? Take care xxx

@MGC Bertie, so sorry to hear it wasn't a BFP for you. Hope you're hanging in there and treating yourself this weekend. Fingers crossed Dr M's new protocol gets you there next time.
@Galea, hope you're on the mend from the biopsy and having a restful weekend. My results were bck in about 7 days.
@soclose, the cheapest I've been able to find Neupogen on the west coast is $1380 and they were the cheapest by $50-100.

AFM: Had my follow up consult for our last attempt. This time I'm swapping to .5mg/twice daily Dex instead of 25mg pred, IVIG 25g 5-7 days before ET (last time I did 10 days) and Neupogen. Still doing clexane and doxycycline. I've got high nk57 (blood) and nk56 (uterus) and MTHFR.

    Have a good weekend ladies.

Miss Sagi - Sounds like a very confusing situation. We are always searching for the reason why and you must be getting exasperated. I hope next time is the one.

Nidhulaine - you are obviously one of the girls that Dr M was referring to when he said it to me. Nice to meet you :-) I have had one CP without a procedure but all others (3) have been after one. I wonder if opening the cervix helps the sperm through and then the environment is cleaner for it to survive. Who knows but I hope I can follow you to a successful pregnancy. If I was in Sydney, I would be pushing for intrallipids straight away but as I am in Perth, I will wait to see what Dr M says after my next blood test. I hope thats not a mistake but if it is, I will learn the lesson the hard way. Story of my life.

Thinking of you MGC Bertie. May this next one be it. I am on 40mg clexane first cycle. Are you quite small to have started on 20mg? I am 48 kgs and my clexane dose is high due to my high ANAs. Lets hope that this new protocol will do the trick.

Snowy.... no, I'm not small at all, I weigh 75kg. That's why I'm slightly annoyed to be now given 60mg of Clexane, when really I should have been having that in the first place. Both with all the FSs and with Dr M, it seems to be the case of try the smallest thing, and if it doesn't work, then up it. But to have 10 cycles that haven't worked is heartbreaking to think I should have had all these meds two and a half years ago.

I hear ya there Bertie! Imagine now much time, pain and $$ would be saved if a proactive instead of reactive approach was taken in this whole sordid process. So frustrating!

    Hi Ladies,

I just wanted to share what my FS told me on my last consult.

He had been on a conference in USA recently, they have found that Dexathemsone has improved egg quality.

For me, the last two cycles I have take it, for immune disorder etc. Last cycle I had bio chemical pregnancy. This cycle I'm now 8 weeks pregnant.
Who knows if that was the difference. But so worth if it can get us a sticky BFP.

Also I'd like to say thank for to everyone for sharing their journeys. You have helped me find FS who has a clue, and will treat accordingly.
