Sorry bbhope not sure. I've been taking mine 3x5mg with breakfast and 2x5mg with lunch. I didn't think it mattered too much if you took them all in one go or spaced them out. Dr M certainly never gave a schedule. Maybe I've been doing it wrong???

He didnt. He just said 3 times per day which makes sense to be 8 hrs apart. The pharmacist said the same thing. So I hope +/- few hrs is ok. FS instruction is all in one go.

Hi bb, I asked Dr M about timing as the steroids were keeping me wired all night with only 1-2hrs sleep a day. He said take a couple with breakfast and then rest at lunch is just fine.

Sorry all, I've been moving and traveling so not been able to post much but I'm following along with your posts. Welcome all the new ladies and big hugs to those cycling or had set backs xo

I asked Dr M this same thing last appointment, as he'd never said to spread them apart before, and it wasn't until I read on here that other were spreading their doses. So when I asked him, he shrugged his shoulders and said, "yes, you can if you want, take half at breakfast and half at lunch, don't take it at night as it will keep you awake." He was very non-chalant about it, kind of like it really wouldn't matter if you take it all at once in the morning.

    Dear ladies
I haven't posted much as way too much has been going on which has hijacked everything at the moment.

Question for those retested during pregnancy for blood nkc levels and with Dr M....do you remember if you were retested before or after intralipid/ivig at approx week 14?

BBhope I'm another taking pred all at once in the morning due to insomnia it can cause.

    Thanking you

Girls, should I be calling Dr M because I got a natural bfp today and the line is darker than I have ever had but my first appointment with Dr M isn't until Thursday. I am literally 5 weeks since my last d&c/mc.

Congrats Snowy and yes definitely call him right now and sound desperate. He prob won't have you in for an infusion till sat but he could check your doses of steroids etc.

Snowy.... congrats on your BFP!! You should definitely call Dr M and ask. Have you been tested and have abnormal ANAs and NKCs? As he then may want to do things to prevent those MCs that you've had in the past, as obviously your issue is not IVF or implanting, but rather holding onto it.

Forgot to say - I take all my pred at around 4.30 to 5.00am each day. If I take it any later I just cannot sleep. This time seems to work best for me. I hope it's ok to take all at once. There's no way I could take it later in the day.
