PreciousHeart I've been bursting at the seams waiting for your announcement! So happy for you. So so lucky to fall on your first DE cycle. How fabulous is that . You made my day and give us all hope that we will get there too xxx

Ladydee - what bella said. I gained a lot of knowledge from reading back. Everything made sense when I read others stories.

Ladydee I agree with the others and I am one of the ones who has had success with dr m without ivf! The medications and dosages really depend on your issues so I would be hesitant to try low doses with your fs without thorough testing. Unfortunately most fs don't believe in these issues and won't take them seriously or prescribe the doses and meds required to combat an over active immune system. I too had a dd and then several mcs. We always found it very easy to fall preg but then my immune system would kick in anywhere from 5 week to 10 weeks. I couldn't deal with the heartbreak of the "try again, you will get a sticky eventually" approach my ob/fs advised. Dr m found high uterine nk cells, mthfr endometriosis and advised that my ana was through the roof when my fs had said that the level wasn't a problem (1:1280)! Best of luck, I hope you can figure out why this is happening and get your sticky bfp xx

@Fiona2 ... My first appointment with Dr. m is July 10th, a while away!

Bad day for me ladies, I'm on day 9 after ET and I'm already bleeding. I feel that by body is rejecting pregnancies quicker and quicker every cycle. I have positive ANA. I did HPT this morning Nd it wS negative so I kinda made up my mind but didn't expect a bleed this quick. Hopefully with Dr. m help, I can have a better chance in conceiving.

Congrats for @PreciousHeart! That's excellent news, hard work pays off

I'm just gearing up for my third m/c in a row. First was at 7 weeks, then my heartbreaker at 11 weeks and I'm currently 8 weeks on Monday if I don't m/c before then (dropping hCG, progesterone halved and yesterday's scan showed a very slow, erratic heartbeat ). All of them are/were missed m/c with no blood or pain until they had passed away.

I took 2 years to get utd with my daughter and I've been trying for #2 for 17months. I have PCOS which is apparently our only hurdle.

So I'm trying to figure out what's with all of these heartbreaking losses and as we're moving onto IVF, I want to try and figure it out before forking out 5, 10, 15+ thousand $$$$ just to keep miscarrying?!

So can anyone please help with any of these questions I'm having difficulty answering with Dr Google ?
    * Does anyone have other children but have now been diagnosed with HNK cells? Is that even possible??
    * How did you get tested for and diagnosed with HNK cells? What tests should I be asking my FS to request for me? My FS is a little skeptical about these sorts of things and said it's still being researched.
*Are there any symptoms that I should be looking out for?
*My FS said we can look into trying me on a low dose of steroids and blood thinners for my next (hopeful) pregnancy. Is there a better time in my cycle or pregnancy that I should start these?
*If I did have HNK cells, would I even be making it to 7/8/11 weeks pregnant or would they be making any form of implantation impossible?

Thanks in advance if you are able to answer any of these questions. Wishing you all the very best of luck! xx
    hi Ladybee,

i thought i would post here so I can sort of get the message out that immune issues are often after you have a child or two and not just for those who have never gotten implantation. As Bella mentioned you have the classic signs of immune related issues with multiple miscarriage. I had my daughter now 4yrs and after that 7 consecutive miscarriages with almost always the same pattern, HCG starting off great but then around week 5 growth starts to slow and eventually bleeding and loss week 6. From someone who has been through 7 miscarriages I am telling you don't move to ivf if u can get pregnant naturally. I was pushed down that path to do an ivf cycle with PGD (genetic testing of embies) and it cost 12K and I still miscarried. It was then time to find Dr M. I had even tried prednisolone and clexene with that ivf cycle (bondi protocol) and still miscarried.
If you can get pregnant than your immune problems maybe similar to mine where your body attacks the embryo and there is plenty of hope but you do need testing and a specific drug protocol. Make a. Appointment with Dr Gamal Matthias and if your not Sydney based then it can be a phone appointment. He will do the regular miscarriage testing and mores specialised testing and then you will have a proper protocol of drugs you need to be on either from BFP or if you can get pregnant very easily in one or two cycles then u will start from day 1. I am writing this 16 weeks pregnant with my 9th pregnancy and hopefully my second child. I have never gotten anywhere near this far since my daughter 4 years ago. Feel free to PM me if you need any more specific information. Take care of yourself

    Hi @timetoshine

May I ask how DR.M treat you for your high ANA? And how's by rounds did you have a go with his protocol? Mine is 1:640.

Babychino, I started on 10mg prednisolone daily and clexane every second day from ovulation. On bfp I went up to 20mg Pred and clexane daily, 800mg progesterone too. Had weekly hcg and p4 tests sent to dr m and he increased Pred to 25mg fairly early on due to something in the results and increased to 1200mg progesterone after I had some bleeding. I had intralipids at 4.5 week, 9, 13, 18, and 24 weeks. If you do ivf the start dates and doses will vary a lot. It also depends if he finds any other issues. I was lucky enough that this protocol worked first go for me but others have had to have a few cycles to get their immune system settled enough. Good luck xx

Many many thanks to all of you who answered with all of your information and shared your experiences! I feel like there might be a light at the end of this terrible nightmare I seem to be stuck in. Big hugs xo

I've started bleeding this afternoon so let me just get through what's to come first as I guess it's all starting again and then I'll definitely read back on the previous threads....didn't even notice the "#4" (duh) and then I'll be back! xx

PreciousHeart I don't know InNatal so not too sure, sorry! Thorne have a good reputation and a few people have recommended them to me. Just be warned that it's got a decent dose of iron and you can lose your lunch if you've not eaten enough when you take them!

Thanks for the selenium tip, I picked up some nuts today. Just have to try and not demolish the whole bag too quickly!

Ladybug is the Thorne brand multi better than InNatal do you think??? Might switch... I started getting methyl b9,12&6 a few months ago & I feel so much more energetic it's great! All from iherb.com thanks to this thread.

i will now eat an orange a day for more vitamin c I think!
