Off to see FS on Monday to plan donor egg cycle with my sister's eggs, so better make myself another appointment with Dr M to run alongside - 3rd time lucky????
CinderElla88 - I would def organise an appt with Dr M to get tested since you have an auto-immune disease. Have you read 'is your body baby friendly' by Alan Beer? A worthwhile read. As far as I understand, a definite connection between infertility and autoimmune diseases. Good luck!
Just quickly jumping in new thread. I am on the FB page so don't come here much. EC 5 was a disaster with only 6 eggs collected, normally get a minimum if 14. Anyway all 6 were fertilised & frozen. Start Lucrin in 2 weeks for EC on 12 May & frozen embryos will be defrosted & PGD tested with the fresh batch & then hopefully transfer 11 will happen. Using Neupogen, IVIG, Dex, Doxy & Clexane. Also just for those that don't know this is my fourth treatment cycle with Dr M. Not all of us are lucky enough to have it work 1st or 2nd go & have to keep persevering with changes as we are all different. He is great with making changes & adding to the treatment protocol.

there is so much information here... thank you to everyone.
Frances - the TWW drives most people crazy... not long to go...
MGC - when do you start with DE from your sister? will Dr M adjust your protocol as you are using DE...?
Hi to everyone else...
I can't believe we are up to thread #4 now! I don't get on Bubhub much these days as many of are now on the facebook group that Bella mentioned. I find it a lot easier to work with than Bubhub.
Blueberry Swirl - welcome and well done for reading back though the last 3 threads. That is an amazing effort! I did the same before posting my first post and I learnt so much from doing so. I also laughed and cried along the way whilst reading everybody's stories. I am forever grateful to the lovely Helenmac for starting this thread as it has been so helpful and provides a wonderful support network for us all.
Cinderella88 - welcome. I think you are making the right decision to explore the possibility of immune issues preventing you from getting pregnant, especially considering your autoimmune history. I think it would be very worthwhile for you to see Dr M. When looking at NK cells the best way to test is having a uterine biopsy done.
I second what chefsgirl said earlier - if you haven't read Dr Beers - Is your body baby friendly, then you should get it. Between reading all the all threads and Dr Beers book you will learn so much and also identify with symptoms of immune response that may be happening for you.
Good luck to those cycling at present and to everyone else, wherever you are at on this crazy journey.
Time for an update for me to, it's definitely been awhile since I posted here.
my history is one dd almost four and 7 miscarriages since, some natural, 2 iui and one ivf/PGD . Currently 5 weeks pregnant(pregnancy no. 9) using the following protocol, 2mg Dexamethasone, clexene, progesterone, Neupogen, intralipids prior to ovulation and IVIG @ week 5. I am also a Dr M patient,
I definetely believe it is possible to get pregnant naturally but recognise that while u are taking all these drugs it in necessary to ttc v quickly as they are physical and financially draining (IVIG $2,200 to $3,000 per infusion) often assisted speeds things up and that's why many of us go straight to ivf on immune treatment.
Will I be successful on number 9? I don't know but I do know there is far more chance of achieving success if you have immune issues checked out. Fertility specialists will blame egg quality, egg etc for implantation failure but very few of them are brave enough to suggest it might be an immune issue to their patients.
Totally agree with your last statement - because I also have PCOS, my FS overlooked that my ANA had not been tested and told me that clomid would fix it as it was probably poor egg quality. I asked to go on clexane as a precaution that round and was told I didn't need it. One of the hospital obs after that mc picked up that ANA had been missed thankfully otherwise we were not going to try again if nothing could be found.
Congrats on your pregnancy N - hoping that you get to keep this bundle.
