My husband lost his sister to a car accident when she was 17. They didn't have to make such a hard decision to turn off machines though as she died instantly. If there was a silver lining to the awful difficult tragic cloud, it's that it's brought his family closer together and they appreciate each other all the more now, talk about her often and remember her fondly.

Take care of yourselves as best you can and focus on remembering the times you shared with your beautiful sister. Xoxox

We were initially told that she was out into an induced coma, upon discussions with her doctor and the monitoring they have done, they are certain that she actually isn't in an induced coma but upon impact she went in one then - I believe she died at the scene... it has brought our already close family closer...

I am so heart broken and my heart aches for when I have to tell my little girls...
