The first time a random (very young) customer service assistant called me 'ma'am'

    It was so depressing...

Haha, I had a thread similar to this one a while ago and for me it was my first ever purchase of anti wrinkle cream earlier this year

Oh yes @Fleetwood I remember that happening to me- a kid who was serving me turned to his supervisor and said "this woman wants to know. .." eek!

I feel old when my friends are singing along to some song on mix 101 & I have never heard it before. And if I ask about it, I won't have heard of the band/singer anyway. I have no idea about latest bands/movies/books at.all. Someone mentioned the other day that the Hunger Games is not suitable reading for primary school kids, and when I asked 'Oh? Why?' they kinda looked at me funny ha ha

When I thought of the police officer who random breath tested me as 'a nice young man.' Seriously, I wanted to check this kid's ID...

I can relate to so many of these!

When i started looking for excuses to stay in rather than looking for an excuse to go out.

When my 4 yo niece told me that I was so old that I was going to die soon.

When I joined my local FB garage sale page.

When I started getting excited about going to Bunnings.

Oh & when I keep feeling like I'm in a time warp with all the 80s inspired clothing. So wish I'd hung onto those clothes; they'd be vintage now.
