    That's certainly a factor.

How on earth can a psychologist and computer scientist claim any kind of expertise in vaccines? the mind truly boggles!

There is also the author bias to consider- Neil Z Miller is an known anti-vax contributor. Also, his degree is in psychology- not immunology or a related field. The other author is also a well known anti-vax proponent- Gary S Goldman, whose qualification is in computer science. This is worth a read regarding this study:

Look at some of the foremost antivax "doctors"- Joe Mercola is an osteopath, Vera Screibner (sp?) is a palaeontologist! And not to forget, Australia's self-proclaimed "leading expert on vaccines", Meryl Dorey, when questioned on her qualifications, stated that she "has a brain"

Good to see an article telling the truth about VPDs and vaccines and not trying to provide a (false) balance. It is awful about Roald Dahl's daughter- what a tragedy and all that from a disease that anti vax groups describe and a "gift" and a "harmless childhood disease". The anti vax movement should feel utterly ashamed.
