    Thanks a lot girls 😊.
@seahorse, no I did not have the procedure in Durban. I had it in Cape Town. Sorry I can't help, I also wanted to do it in Durban but didn't know any place and didn't have much time to research as we wanted to try within 4 months.

    Awesome news Emski!

So I am just investigating my flights etc (still waiting to be told to go ahead and book mind you!) and struggling to work out why I should book flexible flights ($1600 in total each more than Saver fare). If I need to make changes I can do that online and not pay the $80 to speak to a human and it's just the fare difference which you still have to pay when booking flex.
The other charge would be if we had to cancel and they charge cancellation of $500 each for Saver and Semi flex. So that is still cheaper to get the cheaper fare. It's still refundable too just minus the cancellation fee.
    $2464 - Saver
    $3264 - Semi flex
    $4064 - Flex

    Thoughts anyone?

Emski72 - great news all tests came back normal. Now you can start picking out names and decorating the nursery

myheart - best of luck with your friend. It sounds very promising

thembs & MrsErinR - wishing you a stress free and positive 2WW

Net3811- great to have you back here. You are sounding like you are in a really great place after your disappointment. I wish you well in your gap year and whatever you decide to do in the future. I can't say I am enjoying pregnancy which sounds ungrateful but I have just been so unwell and fatigued. Starting to feel more human now and getting very excited. Have held off on any purchases for bub until after our Nuchal scan on Saturday. I am being very cautious although DH has already sourced a cot!

KLM0511 - best of luck on booking airfares. Although unlikely, we did need to spend an extra 5 days in Cape Town due to our cycle not going to plan. I guess it may pay to have some flexibility at the end of your trip.

    Hi to all

Thanks January. Although if you bought the flexible fares did you still have to pay the fare difference when you had to stay longer? To me I don't see the point in the flex when you still have to pay the fare difference with all fare types. Just with the Flex fare if you cancel you don't get charged $500. That seems to be the only benefit in paying the extra $1600 each.
I'll have to ring Qantas and ask them about it.

    Default It's a girl!

Our beautiful baby girl arrived on the 21.05.14 (two weeks early) she weighed 3kg and was 49.5cm long. She is so cute and is doing well. I tried to post earlier but lost the message when I tried to add a picture.
She is doing all things baby which takes up most of a 24hr period. We are learning quickly. I need more sleep but don't think it will come anytime soon.
I still can't believe I am a mum and to such a gorgeous girl, after so many years of heartache and struggle against the odds we have finally made it. All those years have melted away. We have been in contact with our donor and she is equally happy with her arrival, which is do lovely to share.
She is crying now for food do have to go but thankyou to all the love and support from so many on this thread. Like all the girls before me I wouldn't have been able to do it with out you xxx
