Far out! Just when everything seemed to be going so smoothly, our donor has had 2nd thoughts after hearing about the risks and so they didn't go ahead with her screening today. She took info away to read and to think about it and has apparently decided to still go ahead. So, she is hopefully back in for screening next week now.

I'm a bit nervous now. If she is doubtful, I hope she pulls out now rather than later, even though we'll be so sad to lose her.

Sorry to hear that MrsErin. I agree better for her to cancel now if she is having 2nd thoughts than in the middle of the process. Hopefully she makes up her mind properly and you can def go ahead with her.

I'm STILL waiting to hear about my preferred donor. Hope to hear back from EDSA tonight, as if she is not going to agree then I'll take my second choice. At this rate I just want to secure someone! Lots of waiting isn't there.

Everything else is all ready and waiting so to speak.

Ejj - congratulations. So happy for you. How sweet of you to think of others before posting

Klm - I hope you hear something soon. It's agony having to wait.

MrsErin - I too would rather her to say now rather than later about not wanting to go ahead. Must be so hard.

Hugs to to you all ladies.

Bit of a weird question for you ladies. Did you stop DTD while you were in Cape Town? I have heard not to a week after transfer but what about before? Hubby is a bit concerned

I can't speak from experience as I'm not in Cape Town yet, but we were always told to DTD the night before transfer here. I can't see there'd be any issue :-)
