January and emski - such good news for you both. Enjoy your beautiful pregnancies.

AFM - had a lining scan today because I was freaking out about whether or not I would respond to the medication. Have been on progynova for 7 days now and it's 8.7mm. I'm hoping it's still thickening up. It started at 3.5mm after AF. Does anyone know what the drs at CFC like it to be at for transfer?

Lozby - sorry to hear you have to wait. But sounds like you have a good chance with FET. I hope it goes quick for you.

Bugger! But I guess it is much better for your body to be totally ready. X

Hi Esperanza your lining sounds fine to me. Mine was only 7.5 at my first appointment in Cape Town and the Dr was not concerned at all. It probably got slightly thicker by the time I got to transfer and hey its worked. I don't think you have anything to worry about there

Have just been to my FS here in OZ who will monitor the pregnancy until 12 weeks. I feel like I am in good hands and glad I had the foresight to set up the appointment in advance as there is normally a long waiting list. He is doing weekly HCG, Estrogen and Progesterone bloods and will alter my meds if required. 1st scan booked for 8th May

Slowly sinking in and trying desperately not to get ahead of myself

    Great result Emski

    Congratulations January awesome news

Lozby sorry to hear you were unable to transfer but another trip to Thailand won't be so bad I am sure and your better off being body ready than risking it.

Does anyone know how long intralipids stay in your system?. I am booked in for intralipids on the 6th with my transfer now on the 7th and I can be booked in for intralipids on the 8th as well but I had a feeling they stay in your system for a week or so. I told Gweneth the above and the answer I got back from Dr Matthias was it would be beneficial to have intralipids before and after transfer! When I spoke to him at my last appointment he was suggesting the intralipids weekend before I left and a week or two later after I got back and had a positive. Any help would be appreciated, I have no idea about the immune stuff. All I know is that the prednisone is making me feel ill and tastes disgusting.

Jodie, I'm pretty sure intralipids last for about 4 weeks or maybe a bit longer. He may want to do the intralipids a bit closer together to make sure the NKC activity is being taken care of.

I have to have them twice before my transfer this time and an IVIg as well. Good luck I hope the protocol works for you
