MrsErinR, I had that occur a couple of times. The nurses are flat out but it's still important you get your questions answered. I ended up emailing Dr Wiswedel directly a couple of times and he responded promptly and included Cyndi in his reply :-)

    Hi Erin

Same for me - anything urgent I would always CC in the Dr as well

Thanks so much. I'll try that tomorrow if I don't get a response overnight.

Hi Erin, I hope you get a response soon.

Just a quick update from me. Finally got the treatment plan today and we are booking our flights tomorrow. Accommodation is booked and confirmed. Egg pickup on the 2nd June. Fingers crossed this time, hope we get our BFP.

Great news Thembs. It's great you could book it all in again so soon. 2nd June will be here before you know it!

That's great Thembs. Maybe we'll be there at a similar time.

Blinky our donor was 22 BFP. We tried to choose a young donor as we were only able to have 1 shot at it (after enduring 10 failed full stim cycles ourselves). Best of luck to you.

Erin, not sure who your doctor is but Dr LR and his nurse have been on holidays for a week and now have a massive backlog if that helps answer why here is a delayed response?
Dr Heylen was away and then when he got back was relieving for Dr LR, so he too has been busy.
Outside of that I too also found any questions I wanted answers to were responded quickest if I emailed the dr and cc'd the nurse.

I have a question for the ladies who have been to Cape Town. Did you go on any safaris near cape town? We don't have the time to go to Kruger and was looking at what's available for day trips near Cape Town. I know there's inverdoorn and Aquila but they get mixed reviews. And I saw fairy glen too. Are any of these worth the price for a day trip?

    thanks ladies
