Target have a range called "limited editions" and that's what I buy from. More expensive than their city dressing range but still cheap for the design and quality.

Nearly all my work clothes come from Target. I find it's good quality and a perfect fit.

I find the Basque brand at Myers so much better, especially for pants. Maybe out of your price range??? - eg pants are usually around the $100 mark. I also want to lose weight, but am happy to survive on two pairs of work pants and get two wears out of them before I wash them. If you can get Basque on sale it isn't too bad. (But then I'm someone who will wear the same top every week for at least a year if I really like it so get good value out of clothes).

I love the Basque range too - that's my next stop on the ladder after Target!

Rockmans also have very reasonably priced trousers and jackets. The cuts aren't wonderful but the prices are usually very reasonable and might suit if you're planning on losing weight and only want something for a few months. If you go for very plain tailoring you can dress them up with more fancy blouses and accessories.

I need black work pants that fit nicely - depending on the make I'm a 14-16. I'm totally going to look up some of these suggestions ! Thanks!

I was worried about the quality of Target, but perhaps they have changed in recent years.
Mine are great quality! I'm loving everything I have bought
