My nipples got really sensitive and stinging when I ovulated.
I have PCOS and was on monitored cycles (had blood tests on CD21 to check for ovulation). The months I ovulated I always had sore/stinging nipples and it didn't happen when I hadn't ovulated.
I'm going to keep track of my nipples this month and see if they get sore this month again near ovulation.
I'll be doing the same thing. After almost 15 years on OCP I'm not sure what it actually is like to ovulate or how my body takes it so tracking it will be the best option I guess.
Feeling a bit crampy so I thought I'd check my period tracker app... And what would you know - today is ovulation day!!!
No sensitive nipples though
If it's an ovulation 'sign' for you then it should start to happen over next few days (if you do in fact ovulate now). I think the nipple thing is related to the rise in your progesterone levels post ovulation. The levels naturally rise for a few days after ovulating in preparation for supporting a pregnancy.
Gah! I'm remembering now why I went on the pill! Terrible breakouts and horrible AF pain - I hate this!
Hi! I came off the pill at the end of March after 10 years on it, so far it has been 45 days since the withdrawal bleed and no AF. May acne made a hurry about reappearing though!
I was on Yaz so AF returned straight away but the cycle length has been all over the shop, ranging from 25 to 35 days!
