My dd is same age as yours OP and she still doesn't own a pair of shoes lol!

I took her to work last week and everyone was asking me why she wasn't wearing shoes. To be honest she's never really needed them yet. And she has never kept a pair of socks or a hat on and I don't think I'll going to have much luck with shoes either. She likes to be natural.

If I was in a place where they were needed such as bindis then yes I would put them on but I haven't been in a situation yet where they have been required and running around barefoot outside certainly has never been an issue yet.

My DD wears shoes... Only because she likes to wear my heels outside in her make believe games haha. But apart from that I let her go bare foot unless we're going out

    Shoes on outside always here.

We seem to have an excessive amount of ants around our house and they bite!

Shoes and hat on is the rule here, have been doing it since he started walking at 1. I find it much easier to get him ready to go out because of it. All i have to say is "outside time" and he grabs his hat and shoes and tries to put them on. He rearly takes them off while outside too, I guess because he knows its the rule that they are on.

Shoes always, we have a crazy amount of spurs, prickles, bull ants and meat ants and the yard/s are pretty much dirt and patches of dry straw grass. At my parents house with their lush grass I don't mind (oh how I miss green grass, lol)

Our grass is nice. My daughter climbed up this slide in bare feet.
