Good for you @MrsTugs! One month closer to bubs hopefully!!!

It does suck. I never feel like I 'know' DH's side of the family. I've only seen them a handful of times since we've been together and for a few days at a time. So it's hard to really get to know people that way. Oh well, sometimes it's a blessing because when you do know ppl too well you may not like them as much hahaha or you become complacent with them being there. So at least I appreciate Dhs fam that much more because we don't see them very often!

finding most of the discussion seems to be happening on the testing threads etc, but thought i'd pop in and say hi been reading up on the SMEP method, and we're going to try it this month. Got nothing to lose I figure... CD8 will be tomorrow, just gotta get my head around the pattern of BDing it suggests and cross my fingers lol

It definitely has died off a bit in here. I'm a bit over the testing threads now. I don't obsess over things like CM, cervix position etc etc so feel like I have nothing to contribute to them. That and it sucks seeing so many bfps - none of them mine. After 14-15 months TTC or whatever it's been, I'm just taking it as it comes. I'm on clomid, it's timed intercourse so there's not as much excitement around TTC these days. Not that I'm downer, I guess it's self preservation to a point as well.

I've given up on the testing threads as well. For me personally, it's hard enough seeing newbies getting their BFP within 1-3 cycles, not to mention all their added angst and stressing over every little symptom. Just makes me then get tense as well.

totally. I am still following the testing threads, but i've gotten a bit over taking temps etc. it took us 2 1/2 years to get DD, and now I'm 6 months into TTC #2, but had a miscarriage in the middle. I trust it will happen eventually, but obsessing over it every month only makes me sad

Exactly @Shrillian. If I said what I really thought about some of the things that people said I would probably have to leave haha.
