On another note omg my mother is observant lol....DH reaaaaally didn't want to tell anyone til 12 weeks (I desperately wanted to tell my mum) so I hadn't told mum anything and she just caught me in my room and was like...is there anything you'd like to tell me and I was like hmmm nooo and she was like I knew it! So I told her she had 8 weeks to work on her I'm surprised face and that if DH asks, I didn't tell her,....which I *technically* didn't :P whoops

We aren't finding out bubs gender :-) I get another scan at 28-30 weeks because of my placenta sitting on my cervix.

such an exciting katvee , I didn't tell my mum and dad until almost 7 weeks :-)

It looks like I am losing my baby I have been very lightly spotting for 12 days but no actual bleeding or cramping, and my hcg was 158 last Monday and only 250ish (I zoned out) this Monday just gone. Had an ultrasound this arvo and they couldn't see any evidence of pregnancy. Hoping it's just too early. Had another blood test which will show me if hcg is going up or down...

@jussi, fingers crossed for your next test result. Big hugs, it must be very hard :-(
@CrumbleBee, I wish I wasn't able to be read like a book, I was trying to go with DH's wishes and not tell her until 12 weeks. Has been nice chatting about it and she's bought me up the duff and a few other bits and pieces already lol. Spoilt first grandchild coming right up lol...

@jussi I have all my fingers and toes crossed, unfortunately I know the feeling though. On my bday this year I had an ultrasound which was meant to be my 5 1/2 week scan but it ended up being just to make sure everything was back to normal after my mc. There is still hope for you though, we will all be hanging to find out the results from your most recent test xo

So excited for all these recent BFPs ladies! @jussi I have my fingers crossed it's just too early to detect x
@CrumbleBee I will be the same in not finding out the sex I think. DH and I are a bit old school like that. Much different to all our friends with kids. They all found out! I just think it's one of life's surprises that you can still have if you choose Great photo of bub by the way!

Man, I keep having so many dreams to do with pregnancy and conception. Almost everyday I dream I'm ovulating and DH and I BD and then I find out I'm UTD. Def my subconcious going into overdrive. It must be preparing me for Sept.
@Katvee, that's nice your Mum is spoiling baby already! If I have a girl she will be the most spoilt kid ever haha no girls on either side of the family just yet. we can deliver

Hi everyone. Just to update you all, yesterday's ultrasound they saw nothing, and then i got the hcg results today, which was down to 77 (from 250ish monday). I have lost the baby . I am planning to start trying again once the bleeding stops and levels return to zero, but for today I am going between tears and trying to distract myself by cleaning the house. Hopefully ovulation will return quickly so I can be back on the bandwagon...

Oh no I'm so sorry to hear that. And while this won't help you now and how you're feeling there's been so many women that have had sticky rainbow babies that have been conceived very shortly after something like this
    Still... give yourself time

thanks @Craftymamabris I have had chemical pregnancies before, but never anything that has shown up so strongly on a pregnancy test for two weeks solid. I don't believe this was a chemical though, just a very early miscarriage. I actually think the second beta was caught on its way back down again, as I had lost symptoms a couple days beforehand.

I am feeling hopeful that we will conceive within a few more months - my DD was conceived only 3 months after a chemical pregnancy, so I know it can happen. I had just hoped that our second one might not be such a difficult journey... This is our second unsuccessful pregnancy since DD was born (we had one when she was 7 months, but weren't trying to get pregnant then).
