Default unable to sleep on back. suggestions please

My baby has been sleeping on his tummy ever since he got back from the hospital. Now that he is learning to roll to his back, when he is on his back he will not sleep long and screams (sounds like nightmare screams). I guess he has not learnt to sleep on his back. Suggestions on how to solve this? Do I start swaddling? He has not been swaddled since he slept on his tummy.

If he's rolling it's dangerous to swaddle because he needs his arms free if he rolls onto his tummy to prevent him suffocating himself.

That said you could maybe try swaddling with arms free, so just firm around tummy and chest, google arms free Swaddle and there's a YouTube video.

Could try rolled up towels either side of bub under the sheet. Might help to prevent him rolling over so much
