Default What was your babies HEART-RATE at 14 weeks!??

    HI LADIES!

Just wondering what your baby's fetal heart-rate was at week '14' so if you had a scan or fetal doppler done at '14' weeks, what was the babies heart rate?? Mine is 146bpm and I'm wondering if that is low compared to others???

I know the normal HR is anywhere between 120-160 at this point.

I have a home doppler and last week at 13 weeks preg the heart rate was 151bpm.

I know as pregnancy progresses that the heart rate decreases, but I just want to hear what YOUR baby's heart rate is thanks

Also do you know of your having a boy or girl (just for a bit of fun!!)

There are so many factors that effect it for example:

    -Baby may be asleep
    -May be awake
    -May be falling asleep
    -May have just woken up
-May have just done a bout of gymnastics

    So many different factors

Anything within normal is normal. Babies will change it up anywhere in that zone and some other babies will always stick around the same zone of possibly ten beats per minute. Both normal.

Dopplers will only pick up the fhr at the moment. As a previous poster commented it varies based on activity, sleep cycles, movement at that precise moment, Etc. as long as its within normal range it's normal and should stay in that same normal range throughout all of pregnancy

Don't worry about it or stress about comparing, they'll all be different.

The heart rate vs gender is a bit of an old wives tale too.

Ps: try not to use the Doppler too often as it lets off ultrasound waves into bub which are fine in moderation but u don't want to be using it all the time throughout preg
