Hi @AAA, yep I had OHSS with my EPU in Oct. I couldn't roll over in bed without pain, couldn't stand up straight to walk, shortness of breath because the fluid was starting to fill up my abdomen and push everything upwards. I got electrolyte stuff from the chemist and just rested with my feet up, eventually it went away. If it gets too bad you should go to the hospital as they can drain the fluid. Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks @nmandv Yes I'm certain thats what is helping me now. I'm resting, drinking more, having the electrolytes regularly and taking panadiene max which all seem to be slowly reducing the pain. Could barely move on Friday and Saturday without pain. Glad its improving. Can't imagine how terrible it must have been for other ladies who have ended up in hospital with more severe cases.

Hello everyone. Hubby and I just went through our 2nd IVF cycle and I am so over the moon to announce that for the first time ever, 8dp5dt, I got a clear as day 2nd line. I could not believe my eyes and I keep looking at it. My blood test is on Wednesday. Fingers crossed little emby holds on. I placed the test in a box and hid it in the garden for hubby to find in an Easter egg hunt.

For some info on me which I thought was pretty useful on another forum I came across when googling:-

    My Age: 30

    DH age: 35

    Diagnosis: Unexplained

How many years TTC? 2 years

    How many cycles: 2

    How many follies: 1st-15, 2nd-10

How many eggs: 1st-6, 2nd-12 (they missed some on the follicle scan)

iCSI? 1st- yes (all of them), 2nd-yes (all of them)

    How many fertilised: 1st-5, 2nd-10

    How many transferred 1st-1, 2nd-1

How many frozen: 1st-1, 2nd-3 (we decided to do another full cycle instead of a FET.

    Symptoms in 2ww: 1st-none, 2nd-period like cramps from 3dp5dt

    DPT get BFP:
1st-10dp5dt (SUPER feint), Had bloods same day. FS said numbers weren't high enough to signify a sustainable pregnancy.
2nd - 8dp5dt (today ☺️ and also first HPT this cycle), judging by how dark it is, I'd say I would have been able to see it a couple of days ago as well.

Holding thumbs for all of you currently going through a cycle.

that's awesome, congrats! Can i ask you why you chose to do another stim cycle instead of using fet? Just curious as it is our first fet since first failed ivf and curious about everything lol 😃

Hi blossom1. Thanks very much. The quality of the first frozen embryo wasn't great and I found only having 1 backup quite stressful. I had also decided to take a break from work to de-stress. So while I had the time, I wanted to get more backups. The quality of the 2nd cycle frozen embies was much better. Not that I'm considered old, but I wanted to have backups from my 30 year old self for any future cycles we may have to undergo. Hopefully we're done this time around, but should we have to do IVF again for #2, we have some great snowbabies to go with.

Hi ladies, I wanted to say hi!
I am in the midst of a frozen cycle.
I am scheduled for double transfer on Thursday - starting progesterone tomorrow.
Fingers crossed they thaw out (we are having 2 transferred)
