Blossom1, now here's me saying do as I say not as I do. NOTHING is supposed to go up there including DP, bath water, swimming etc for a week after EPU I think they say because of the risk of infection. Of course I blatantly ignored that advice, so don't listen to a word I say.

lol, ok, i will need the advice and wait. Mind you, i actually had a bath post EPU, but put salt in it. I'm going to wait then 😊

My FN told me baths were fine after ET as long as they were lukewarm, as you aren't allowed to raise your body temp. I haven't had one just in case.

@leyshoja hope all goes well on Monday and you get a nice surprise

@Vixjc hi hun, I was with you in the November thread. Hope the next 4 days go quickly and scan goes well on Monday for the go ahead hun

AFM: still taking my meds and still counting down till wednesday. Had a bad headache yesterday and this morning. Feeling a bit annoyed. A high school friend of mine, we are the same age 28. She is not in a relationship with anyone.... Well she just had her 5th son yesterday! (Yep 5 boys) her mum is caring for her 4 other sons at the moment. I'm happy for her but I just don't know how to feel. I would be happy with just one! Life can be very unfair, I think I need to avoid Facebook for a bit. Hope everyone is doing ok

Being a donor is regarded differently in Greece (and Spain too as I understand it) - culturally their family focus and emphasis on children is so strong its much more common to donate, its altruistic and anonymous so resulting children will never be able to identify the donor (which I struggle with a bit). The clinics can't advertise for donors like they do here, its all word of mouth recommendation. The donors are able to receive reimbursement for expenses to a maximum of about 800 euro, so its not like the US where they can get sums like $10,000, but I think the clinic gives them the maximum amount ... no doubt there would be some doing it for the money. I suspect my donor is a student. I had asked for someone academic ... I suspect she understands what she's doing, but that it will have a different significance for her once she's in a childbearing phase herself - hopefully she'll appreciate even more what an amazing gift she has given ... If we have any embryos left (and hopefully we do!) we have decided to donate them to couples who need them. That is anonymous too.

Yes vix, what an amazing beautiful gift. The child will really be yours, my DH was adopted and has no desire to find his family, and really really loves his family so much. I'm sure none of that will matter in the end.
@leyshoja - I don't find it surprising that in Europe this sort of thing is quite commonplace, as 20-something's seem to be a lot more mature and sensitive in Europe than they are here.
