Lots of Clomid cycles (can't even count but at a guess I would say 8-10, all BFN) 3x OI cycles (Gonal F and ovidrel trigger) all BFN.

I have PCOS, have had laparoscopy in 2011 no endo just PCOS, hysteroscopy and D&C for ongoing AF- polyp removed and course of antibiotics for chronic endometritis.

We have started our first IVF cycle took a good 2 1/2 wks of Gonal F @ 100 initially then 125 to get things going (despite good ovarian reserve (AMH 47) I seem to always take a while to get going)

U/S last Friday showed 4 mature follicles (>20mm) and 3-4 that were 10ish mm that might have gotten to >15mm by Monday.

Egg collection yesterday (Monday) we only got 4 eggs (better then none but still disappointing) we are going down the road of ICSI so all 4 were able to be injected, phone call this AM, 3 have fertilised.

Now the wait until Friday to see if any/all continue to develop (its like the amazing race!!) If they do then transfer will be Saturday AM.

My hubby and I are really positive and hopeful but it dawned on me tonight that things may not all be roses by Friday or indeed the two weeks post transfer. I have no idea how I will cope it I get a BFN, I can't even think of that being an outcome which just makes me wonder if im setting myself up for a bugger disappointment??? Can anyone relate?? Not sure if it will make things better or worse but we have a holiday booked straight after the 2WW and I dread the thought of me being miserable and emotional on holidays and no one else understanding how I feel.

TIA I look forward to hearing from you all!

    xxx
You sound like you've had it really rough! Hope the Saturday went well

Hi there, just introducing myself and getting to know the forums here During my last pregnancy I didn't join any online groups, but I'm thinking for the next one it could be a good thing to get to know other mums-to-be online.

My husband and I are going to start trying for our second baby soon, so reading up lots lately on all things conception and early pregnancy
