Hi everyone! I am new to forums and thought i would post my story to see if anyone was in a similar situation to myself!
I am 24 and my OH and I have decided to TTC.
I have recently stopped the pill and am on my first natural cycle with 7 days to OV. We stated trying last month but turns out going off the pill 'readjusted' my cycle so we have started again.

The catch is my OH leaves for a six month work trip in NOV so we have limited opportunity to try. Has anyone got any advice? I have been doing alot of reading on fertiliy and conception but i wouldnt mind some advice or tips from women who have been trying. We are so excited but i know i will be devostated if it doesnt happen before his trip..Most of all as we will not be able to try again until Dec next year when I get home from a year of work trips.

    Hey all
I'm new here I'm Bella im 27 yrs old I've been with my partner for 6 yrs and we're got a one-year old daughter We're all so have a cane corso, my partner is a high voltage cable jointer so don't get much time with him due to I'm a part time federal drug and alcohol science examinater and a youth awareness for the Australian federal drug and alcohol awareness as well I do counsel youths who are drug and alcohol users to support them to get help with getting clean and to get them back to school or back into the work force. Well that's basically me down to a T. We do fine the time to have family time and when we do we have no phones on so work can't call us in. 😁

Hi all I am a newbie here, 27 yrs old DH 33 we have been TTC for 6 years.

Lots of Clomid cycles (can't even count but at a guess I would say 8-10, all BFN) 3x OI cycles (Gonal F and ovidrel trigger) all BFN.

I have PCOS, have had laparoscopy in 2011 no endo just PCOS, hysteroscopy and D&C for ongoing AF- polyp removed and course of antibiotics for chronic endometritis.

We have started our first IVF cycle took a good 2 1/2 wks of Gonal F @ 100 initially then 125 to get things going (despite good ovarian reserve (AMH 47) I seem to always take a while to get going)

U/S last Friday showed 4 mature follicles (>20mm) and 3-4 that were 10ish mm that might have gotten to >15mm by Monday.

Egg collection yesterday (Monday) we only got 4 eggs (better then none but still disappointing) we are going down the road of ICSI so all 4 were able to be injected, phone call this AM, 3 have fertilised.

Now the wait until Friday to see if any/all continue to develop (its like the amazing race!!) If they do then transfer will be Saturday AM.

My hubby and I are really positive and hopeful but it dawned on me tonight that things may not all be roses by Friday or indeed the two weeks post transfer. I have no idea how I will cope it I get a BFN, I can't even think of that being an outcome which just makes me wonder if im setting myself up for a bugger disappointment??? Can anyone relate?? Not sure if it will make things better or worse but we have a holiday booked straight after the 2WW and I dread the thought of me being miserable and emotional on holidays and no one else understanding how I feel.

TIA I look forward to hearing from you all!

    xxx

    Hi everyone!
My name is Trang and I am a nursing student from Brisbane South. I have been a guest in this forum for about 4 years now when I was pregnant with my first bub. I have found a lot of great advises and useful information here on bubhub, i don't know why I only signed up today! :P Anyway, I'm really glad I did! I'm hoping to find new friends or fellow nursing, midwifery students!

    Cheers,
    Trang
