I haven't read the replies so sorry if I offend you but I think she may have been trying to make conversation/be funny - how do you know she didn't have tattoo's? I think perhaps you need to calm down and carry on as they say ..

In this case I think the lady was just trying to be funny but unfortunately there will always be someone who judges people because of their ink. DH and I are tattooed and DH has gauged ears and we have had both positives and negative reactions to our pieces and most of the time it doesn't worry us the only time it has was when my foot one was the only one visible and a old dear felt the need to tell me it was disgusting how women get tattoos and if it wasn't for the fact the piece she was talking about is a memorial for my angel babies I probably would have let that comment slide as well.

Ok I was there haha I know how she spoke to us . Hmm No 😒 she wasn't that's the point of this thread asking if people have had negative rude comments from people and I doubt she had tattoos herself with a deliberately rude comment. Mmm my post was asking if people had issues with their tattoos and people commenting . ✌️

Fair enough it read as though she might have been trying to be funny. It's a shame she felt the need to be rude- says more about her than you or your DH though
