Gah! Pre-labour, and I just can't be bothered bouncing on a fit ball to try and get things going.

I keep running into friends down the street that think I'm overdue because of all my FB whinging and how big I am. I wouldn't be so impatient if I was allowed an induction but I pretty much get 10 days and then a caesar.

How is the little lady going now you're at home? Bet the boys were glad to see you.

Amyd why are they giving you a c section. Is that what you want?

Number 1 was a caesar and number 2 a successful vbac. They won't induce me with any drugs, but I can have a s&s or arom if my cervix is favourable. Once labour is established they might give me a little bit of syntocin depending on which dr I get.

I'll be sad if I need another Caesar, mostly because DH is really busy and I know that I'll have to look after all the kids myself but my dr hardly ever tells people they need one so I'm happy that if he wants one then it's the best thing.

That's strange I was allowed vba2c and they were ok to induce if needed only low levels though. Too bad he turned breach when my waters broke so ended up with c section in the end.

I think it's because we're in a reasonable conservative country hospital. In saying that we have 2gp/ob's, 2 ob's and 2 anaesthetists so if needed the staff levels wouldn't be a problem. Getting a good sonographer to scan my c section scar for thickness would probably be hard though.

When I had my last we had an ob that would induce with syntocin but she's since left.
