Just had our scan and got the results from NIPT. Baby is a healthy little boy! We are so pleased everything is going well.

I won't lie, I do feel some gender disappointment.

Hugs LouLaa I'm feeling some too. 3rd and last boy for me. I always imagined myself with a daughter and it's hard to let go of that. My scan was 3 weeks ago and tbh I'm still finding it tough. I'll get there eventually and I hope you will as well. Glad all is well with your little man xx

    Me + DH = DS1 (6), DS2 (2) and #3 due September 8th

Thanks Chippa, it's nice to know someone else understands these feelings. I always imagined myself with a daughter too.

I love this baby so much already and know the feelings will go away, as they did for DS2.

I'm not sure about you but I have no idea on names. We have already used our favourite two! Xxx

Hey Loulaa, so glad baby is healthy and everything is going well :-) Like you said, once he arrives you won't be able to image life without him. My aunt has 4 boys, whom she obviously loves dearly, and still had the odd pang for a daughter. She now has 2 wonderful Dil's. Hope the gender disappointment doesn't cause you too much angst.

Anyone else worried about another little personality, with all their likes and dislikes, coming along?! Our ds2 is just really starting to assert himself and, as to be expected, is very different from Ds1 & dd! A little thing, but for example, they all have such different taste buds! And different body clocks! I feel exhausted just thinking about juggling it all!!!

It's nice finding people who get it

I'm having a tough time with names for sure!!! I just haven't found anything I love as much as my boy's names. Gah! Hopefully inspiration will strike in the next 18 odd weeks lol!

If you're ever feeling really down please feel free to PM me for a chat ok. No need to go through these things alone xx
