I have my first hospital appointment booked in for 18 weeks. Is this the normal time? Been so long.
I am hoping they will still allow shared care as I have had 3 previous preemies 2 of them c sections and was told 2 weeks ago placenta is anterior and very very low.

Yeah it is pretty normal. I only booked in at my hospital at around 29 weeks and that was pretty late but still ok

Had my 12 week scan today! All good :-). Kids were excited. Looking forward to telling everyone. Although not particularly looking forward to telling one of my brothers. His 22month old DD is seriously ill :-( I know he'll be happy for us, but she is having major surgery in less than 2 weeks. Just feels like bad timing to tell them, but also don't want them to find out through someone else.

Glad all is good Goosey! We haven't told the kids yet. We are in a similar situation to you. My SIL lost her baby at birth earlier this year. We want to let her know first, just trying to find the right time. Not easy, so I understand how you are feeling about telling your bro xxxx

This was our dating scan, I'm 10 weeks today so I have another scan in 2 weeks time

I forgot it was your 10wk Loulaa. Not long to go though! I told my brother and naturally he was very happy for us. He's a lovely man, and my SIL is great also. It beaks my heart what they are going through :-(

I hope it goes well for you also. I know it's a different thing, but when I has my miscarriages I found it difficult to talk about babies. Some ppl are great. One of my SIL (actually the one with the sick dd) was always wonderful and would always acknowledge that we might not want to talk baby. Actually her dd was born during that time. Another SIL (i have a few!) actually asked me (during a visit in which we told her about our 2nd miscarriage) if she could borrow my maternity clothes. I thought it was soo insensitive to ask to borrow them, like I obviously didn't need them. I did lend them to SIL (lovely) and she was like, awe no you hang onto them, you'll be needing then soon, etc. So I wouldn't mind lending them. Just being asked directly straight after a mc was mmmm not cool! I'm sure you would never do that though Loulaa:-) !
