Default Sleep issues one year old- advice please!

My bub is waking 2/3 times per night. She goes down really well and sleeps about 2-3 hours over 2 naps during the day (she is not ready to drop to 1 sleep).

She wakes 2/3 times and has a really full on angry scream/cry that gets progressively worse with patting/resettling. Generally during these times she throws her dummies and comforters over the side of the cot too.

I just give up on patting etc as she is standing on the side of the cot desperate for comfort. I give her 2/3 bottles per night (she weaned from the boob a few months back). Which is actually more that she has during the day. I know that she is genuinely hungry though but she is a light eater.

I know I need to flip the eating patterns but I am really stuck on how to do this and how to assist her with resettling.

    Any ideas?!

    Thanks peeps

My ds is 16mths and much the same. We water down his formula and now he has a formula bottle before bed not in his cot and a water bottle in his cot overnight. He still wakes a couple of times but will resettle with just the water.

Thanks for replying! Do you get your DS up or leave him in the cot?

I had the same issue, I figured she was hungry so I slowly played around with her day meals till we found a combo that would fill her up enough so that she'd only wake up once for milk. She now sleeps through she's nearly 2 yr old.
I feed her lots in the morning till her nap at around 11am then she has a snack when she wakes and a yogurt around 3, 4 at the latest then nothing till dinner. I always have some carbs at night. DD didn't take milk before bed for a long time but she does now so that helps too, and someone sleeping in her room, it won't be a permanent thing just so that she gets used to sleeping through.

Strangely, my bub has slept through the last 3 nights until 6.30am! I am not getting my hopes up just yet!
The night before this, I gave her a smaller bottle when she woke the once and tired to give her heaps of food in the day. Not sure if this helped. Oh and we put her down later at night which has been easier as she is not as tired.
    Thanks for replying ladies :-)
