Ok latest update for me is good (I think), I was told the limit for my oestradiol was 15,000 and they were worried it would be somewhere up there due to the number of follicles I had. However results have come back and the total is only 5260, which means its only risen by just over 1400. So I am really pleased that this means I can go ahead with EPU on Friday but not sure what the results show - maybe lots of immature eggs????? Thinking of this as a positive sign at least we can move forward, so I trigger tonight and the operating doctor will then decide if I can go ahead with a fresh transfer or not.

Hi Ladies just checking back in here been trying to keep up but had so much going on DH and I bought a house so trying to keep up with all that.

@thatwldbme Hello again will definitely keep you updated. 50 of puregon is not going to make it happen they have done similar to me on my cycle this time they lowered the dosage because of OHSS so maybe they are being cautious I hear your frustration its so hard. Ive been on injections for just over 2 weeks now and 3 different amounts each time. Probably why I messed one injection up and didnt inject enough so then decided to make up the rest and when told the FS got in trouble hahaha.

@Heyside Thanks lovely I hope things are moving along for you too sounds like good news and good luck for EPU on Friday I dont think I will be far behind you with estimated EPU on Monday. Have my fingers crossed and best of luck for a sticky bub this cycle.

@mrswokie Yah for AF good luck with your injections we either get excited for AF to arrive or dread seeing her. Its ironic how it works.

@S234 - Glad to hear your acupuncture went well. My acupuncturist also picked up heaps of things about me that there is no way she could possibly know they are like fortune tellers mine told me i had knee problem and I acutally did she even told me which knee completely freaky. Good luck with your ultra sound tomorrow and with your cycle and hope you get your BFP too.

@Ladydee How are you travelling reading from the other thread your in your TWW hope your not going to nuts and really really hope this is your BFP with sticky take home bub from this cycle sounds like changing over FS is definitely another step closer to TTC#2.

AFM - This cycle is creeping along slowly started on low dosage of Gonal F and didnt really do much increased a little and still only one or two dominate follies which FS wasnt not happy with so back up to 225 like i was on first IVF cycle and now added Orgalutan starting to feel bloated today. Scan on Friday and estimated EPU is Monday 8th December so will probably be a 5 day transfer which would mean Saturday but not sure if my clinic does Saturday transfers I think they do. Then the TWW and I know they BT 15 days afer transfer which would make BT date Sunday 28 December so will probably be Monday 29 December this is going to be the longest TWW and Xmas ever. I just can't believe it is another year on and still not been able to be pregnant. Only consellation is I feel like im a little closer to getting that sticky take home bub #1. Trying to stay positive. Fingers crossed this is the lucky cycle with a sticky take home bub.

Ah, that's interesting @Heyside, it must be the Metformin improving my skin as I've gone back to my non-Salicylic-Acid face wash which is usually when my skin goes nuts but it's awesome right now even though I'm back to using a natural aloe-Vera/ tea-tree oil based wash which is never strong enough usually.
I'm sorry things haven't been straight forward with your cycle and I hope your follies and bloods behave themselves from here on in. Are you coping ok with the roller coaster of it all? Bloody infertility!!! Make sure you make time for *you* and doing a few things you find therapeutic/relaxing Hun. Your lining sounds great and I'm very very happy you don't have to cancel your whole cycle. I hope lady-luck is with you all day on Friday, I'll be thinking of you and sending eggie wishes all day. I have absolutely everything crossed that you get a great haul of quality emby's xxx

Yay for AF @mrswokie! I hope it's your last one for about the next year or so
@S234 - ha, there's no way I'd be able to go to work after an acupuncture session either so I can imagine what you mean! I had a session today and I think I woke myself up with a bit of a snore! Whoops I'm sorry you're also having a slower cycle, it's just the pitts when that happens!!! I hope things pick up very soon xxx
@Twinkley - I hope the slow increase in dosage does the trick in getting you a bigger batch of quality blasty's this cycle. Will be eagerly waiting to see how you go on Friday xx

AFM - 4dp5dt. First time using Pregnyl (plus a heap of other stuff!) so I won't be trusting any symptoms that crop up. I've started to get that slight tight-ish feeling in my uterus that I always get from the Progesterone pessaries and vague boob soreness. Bit tired today but I had a later night doing Jive last night...hoping I didn't overheat with that too! Far-out, I think I might have jabbed in the wrong spot or something this morning as my Clexane jab came up in a huge haematoma lump which is soooo sore! I might try my first leg-jab tomorrow...

Twinkley - Congratulations on the new house hun - exciting times! Very strange that they started you on a low dose this cycle hun when they know what you responded to in a previous IVF cycle, glad they have got it right now though. Hope all goes well and stays on track for Monday's EPU for you, will be amazing for you to get your BFP over the Christmas period.

Ladydee - Thanks for support hun. Sorry to hear you have a lump from your injections, it will all be worth it hun, hoping you get that bfp hun and it is a very sticky embryo, hoping the changes you have made encourage it . Hope you are managing to stay sain!

AFM - Morning of EPU, for some reason got up too early so had time to come on here. Hoping the day brings good news so we can move on feeling positive. All went well at this point last cycle though so the next week is crucial, really hoping to receive some news that our embies become blastocysts this time

@mrswokie - all the best with your first jab for this cycle x

@S234 - how did your scan and bloods go yesterday? Full steam ahead I hope xx

How are you going @thatwldbme?? Xx

@Twinkley, congratulations! How long until you move into your new digs?? How exciting Wishing you the best for your scan today and hopefully everything is looking fantastic for your EPU on Monday xx

@Heyside - today's the day! I hope with every bit of me that you get a great EPU today with fantastic fert rates! I hope it doesn't knock you around too much and that you recover nice and quick......thinking of you today! xxxxxx

AFM - bit of a Negative-Nancy today for the first time this cycle and just feeling that now that I'm finally doing something pro-active to not lose bub, I'll just end up with a BFN 6dp5dt and only very slight symptoms....vague headache, occasional slight achey boobs, bit tight in my uterus. Really nothing much at all! I can't even POAS because of the Pregnyl shots

    Oh fingers crossed for everyone!!

My my scan was quite good yesterday- two lead follies at 18mm and 15mm (what do they grow-1mm per day?? So possibly they will be 20 & 17 by tomorrow). Iui is tomorrow morning!!!!!! My lining was looking good too- 7.1cms! I can't remember for sure what it measured last time- 6cm I think. Hopefully the accupuncture and progesterone pessaries will give me two lines!

Look after yourselves, ladies. Let's all make a pact to do something nice for ourselves this weekend, and we will report back on Monday!!

Ladydee - Sorry to hear you are feeling quite negative today, your past history of BFP's should definitely give you hope that this will be a good cycle though hun. Really hoping this is your cycle and the changes that you have made this time mean that you get a very sticky bub who stays around waiting for a cuddle 9 months down the line. I think we all go through a negative stage especially when we have been so pro-active during the rest of the cycle with injections and appointments and suddenly there is nothing we can do other than wait.

S234 - Those follicles sound good, hoping all goes well for your IUI tomorrow and you get your bfp!

AFM - I had my retrieval today and we got 17 eggs, really pleased with the number but my fertility specialist has decided due to the high numbers and the fact my right ovary is now measuring around 10cm I have to do a freeze all cycle - so no Christmas miracle for me . I am really just hoping we get blastocysts so that we can actually freeze something after the disaster of a cycle last time when none of them made it that far.

Sorry, ladies, been a bit MIA, I normally reply whilst at work but have been training a new girl up, so haven't had the time.
@mrswokie a fellow 29 year old. how are your injections going hun? @Ladydee how are you going? I know what you mean about the pregnyl shots. I am dreading doing that again, you honestly feel pregnant being on them, mine was the boobs, they became so so so sore and when I got my BFN it upset me even more because of how sore my boobs were, it sucked !!! hang in there hun, and I wish you so many wishes and send you loads of good vibes for sticky bub! @S234 woweee! nice follies! so jelly! goodluck hun, @Twinkley congrats on the new house love! how was your scan today? @Heyside wow hun that is an awesome number of eggs there for you, keep us all updated

AFM my E2 has rose slightly, from 262 on Tuesday to 320 today! wooop!
can showed 2 dominate follies, one at 12mm and another at 14mm and my lining at 8mm. however, the 14mm they are actually not sure if its a follie because, its right in the far cnr of my ovary and it didn't show up on the scan as a black dot they normally do, more like a pencilled grey shaded spot. so don't know. so anyway, again I am to continue with my same dose of 50units of puregon and have another scan and blood test on Monday! I have a feeling I may be doing a trigger on money, and if I have counted the days correctly I will have my big pregnancy blood test on Christmas eve. still not sure how I feel about that one hahaha but I am actually feeling a tad bit positive with this cycle, I keep telling myself that it takes time to make a prefect eggy! so hopefully that's what my body is doing, haha

it all sounds like we are all doing well so far, and I am confident its going to continue that way!!! lets all hope for more good news for all of us next week xx

Yay! @S234, what great sized follies I've been told follie growth is approx 2mm/day for your average gal. Lining sounds good, hooray for IUI day and then getting down and funky I'll keep everything crossed that you catch one (or both!) of those great sized eggs! Xx Hopefully I have a more positive day tomorrow and then I'll see what I can come up with to complete your challenge, great idea!
@thatwldbme - oh I'm so glad to hear you're feeling nice and positive as that can only help! I see why too, things are definitely on the move for you now Hopefully your bloods and scan on Monday give you the go ahead for your trigger and you can join me in the TWW

Thanks @Heyside - my first thought today when I woke up was..."not pregnant" and it all went down hill from there. But....tomorrow is a new day!
Oh my goodness, what bitter sweet news from you today! I should definitely be grateful that I at least made it to my TWW. Big big congratulations on your whopping 17!!!! You'd put any chicken to shame.....how are you feeling Hun?? I felt absolutely rotten after my EPU and I "only" got 13 so I hope you aren't feeling any worse than that? How did fertilisation go?? Did your DH get a good sample? Oh, I hope you're not taking your delayed ET news too badly.....I have read several people say across the IVF threads that the success rate is supposedly higher with a FET as your body has time to recover....specially if your clinic was planning on another 2dt....that's not much time to recover from a mammoth 17 (at least) jabs to your ovaries! It also means that you'll know with out a doubt that you have a blasty being transferred......it most definitely sucks being delayed (big time!!) but there are a couple of little positives to be found too?? Eagerly awaiting your daily progress....come on little embys!!! Rest up Hun Xoxoxoxo

thatwldbme - Sounds like everything is heading in the right direction for you now hun which is great. Hope Mondays scan shows more development and you get to trigger, glad you are feeling positive

Ladydee - Today is definitely a new day hun, hopefully you feel more positive when you wake up. lol love your comparision to a chicken feel a little like I am on a production line, lets hope there are some good ones in the batch though lol!

AFM - I am feeling pretty good after my EPU to be honest, I felt so good we ventured out to our local Christmas carols, we go each year and seen I was feeling so well we decided why not! I didn't leave the comfort of my chair and felt good throughout but now just feeling tired and drained so sat in my pyjamas with feet up in front of the tv. I don't find out my fertilisation rate until tomorrow morning when I get the dreaded phone call, not expected anywhere near 17 though as I know I had a lot of smaller follicles so I presume lots of immature eggs too especially with my lower oestradiol number. Not feeling too disappointed about having a freeze all cycle apart from the extra money its obviously going to have to cost, the time I have to wait and the fact I have to move from my budget clinic now. I have also heard FET rates are good but at this moment my main concern is a least getting a few to that precious blastocyst stage so we can freeze - will be devastated if we loose them all - one step at a time as they say.
