Hello lovely ladies Sounds like we are going to have lots of xmas surprises in this group! Ill be back joining you all very soon. Have recovered from the MC reasonably well and have been given the all clear to start again when we are ready. I have my Provera ready to go and just need to decide when to start taking it. We are going away to Bali next Sunday for a week so I think I might start while we are away so that we can begin jabbing not long after we get back. Looking fwd to getting back on track!

Welcome Mrswokie, you have come to the right place!

@RD15 this will be your cycle!! I hope a nice relaxin time in Bali sets you off to a great start.
@mrswokie I was a long time reader, first time poster for ages!! You will find the ladies here very supportive. Good luck. Xx

@thatwldbeme don't lose hope! Last cycle my level went down, so they increased my dose of menopur to 112.5 (!) and my next BT saw a much better level, with a scan showing follies at 21, 14 and 13.

Argh! My computer froze! Here is the rest of my post!!!

@Ladydee good luck for your FET in Saturday!!!!!!!!!! you have got me on the accupuncture bandwagon too! @Heyside my appointment is this arvo!!

AFM- started back on the menopur on Friday night, have a BT this morning. Specialist pretty much told me I will need IVF in new year, and wasn't even overly supportive if this last iui that I wanted to do. When I asked her if I have problems with implantation, given I have had two chemicals in a row- she just shook her head and said "no no". But then didn't offer me an explanation as to why it has happened!! Didn't walk out feeling great. But in any case, going to give this last cycle everything I have got!!!!

    Have a a lovely day ladies. X

Ladydee - Amazing news hun really happy for you that your lining is looking good and the FET can go ahead. Really hoping the added changes you have made this cycle will give you a very sticky bfp - it really is your time

Mrswokie - Really hoping the supplements and the acupuncture works well for you this time hun x

thatwldbme - You will get there hun follicles sometimes just seem to grow all of a sudden and everything happens at once so hopefully you will see lots going on at your ultrasound on Friday.

RD15 - Glad to hear all is well with you again hun and you can get going soon, enjoy the relaxing break in Bali you deserve some time to yourself to chill out before you get started again.

S234 - Hope you enjoy your acupuncture appointment this afternoon. Your specialist doesn't sound very supportive at all, definitely give this cycle 100% hun there is no way of knowing if it is going to work or not unfortunately until you try. What is the reasoning as to why he/she thinks you need IVF did they explain that? You also deserve some sort of idea as why they think the chemicals are happening to you - doesn't sound good if you came out feeling down about it all.

AFM - I had my first acupuncture session yesterday, I really am not sure how I feel about it all but am happy to have given it a go. I have to say I did feel relaxed but who wouldn't be being left lying in a darkened room listening to calm music and running water, really trying to feel positive about the whole thing and used the time to will my lovely follies to develop nicely and improve in quality. The acupuncturist has suggested doing another session before retrieval as my issue is really connected with egg quality she has suggested doing the session the night before and then another session after transfer. First ultrasound on Friday hoping to see some good results.

I hope AF arrives right on time so you can get cracking with your next cycle @mrswokie

Thanks @thatwldbme Best of luck for your scan tomorrow, I hope all that jabbing has caught up and your Oestrogen jumped up to a more exciting level with a couple of beautiful mature follies to be seen on your scan Everything crossed Hun, I've had slow frustrating cycles too so I hope yours was just a slower starter. Xx
@RD15 - your trip sounds like an awesome idea to re-group and come back all relaxed and ready to go for your new cycle, the count down is on to holiday bliss Definitely not as exciting as Bali but I did the same with two weekenders before my EPU.

Thanks @S234 - unless someone has a definite reason like several failed cycles or discovered blocked tubes, I think it's definitely a good idea to at least try a couple of cycles of FSH OI cycles before IVF....why the heck not?! I'm glad you put your foot down and are trying another one, I'd do the same if I were you for sure. How did your acupuncture go? I hope you got out if it as much as I do....will you do any sessions around your IUI or estimated implantation day? How did your bloods go?

You're awesome @Heyside, thanks Ah ok, you mean you're a bit iffy as to wether acupuncture actually helps or not....I thought you were nervous about the needles. Who knows....I was doing it when I fell with my dd and I started again for my EPU this time and I did get UTD but lost it with a Chemical so I guess the jury is still kinda out. Who knows if it helped me get my 10 embryo's?? It definitely makes me feel better so if anything, I think it helps me that way. My first session back was just after my 3rd loss in a row and I was in a big haze of depression that I didn't even fully realise I was in at the time and that was the beginning of me climbing my way out of that and feeling a little more human again....though I did start seeing that counsellor too so maybe it was both? I'm glad you've tried it, let's see if it makes you a convert or not

AFM- far-out, this cycle seems to be dragging for some reason, I'm on CD17 today and am looking forward to getting this show on the road and hoping it's time for our sticky, take-home bubba I'm in no rush to flash my bloated tummy to the world in a bikini any time soon so I could really care less but I still can't get over the sight of my belly! The needles don't hurt so no need to feel sorry for me, just the drug as it goes in but it's no biggie really but the bruising is quite something now that a few of them have joined up! The last couple have just got a little bit of red around the injection spot so maybe my body is starting to get used to it??

Thatwldbme - Good luck tomorrow hun for your scan hope you get good results.

Ladydee - Sorry to hear the cycle is dragging for you, not long now until the action starts and you will PUPO with a nice embryo snuggling into those fabulous new conditions you have created this cycle . Oh hun your poor stomach I cant believe those bruises, good to hear the injections themselves don't hurt and the bruises are easing - will all be worth it remember that. I think you are right about the acupuncture if it works in a way that relaxes you then definitely worthwhile as good for your cycle, think I need more work on the complete relaxation thing and taking time out for me - not very good at that lol! I have another session planned before EPU and one after transfer so will see how we go.

AFM- First scan tomorrow, I am started to feel a little relief when I go to the toilet as my bladder stops pressing on my ovaries I think so hoping to see some action but don't think I will be ready for trigger just yet that will probably be Monday. Last day at work tomorrow and as of next week I can start to chill out and concentrate on things

Hello ladies. So scan today and more bloods. Scan showed in total 3 not quite mature enough follies. Right had 2 at 10 and 11mm and left had one at 11mm. Lining was great again at 8mm. However my estrogen level is on the slow side of rising. So on monday it was 220 and today it was 233. So continue with my injections then blood test again on Tuesday to see how that pesky estrogen level is going. And then go from there. @Heyside how was your scan huni?
How was the last day of work? @Ladydee your poor belly. But good to see that your body is getting used to them now. Goodluck tomorrow. @S234 how did your bloods go? @RD15 Enjoy your break hun. So jealous I think I need a holiday haven't had one all year. Blah.

thatwldbme - Good to hear lining was good hun and sounds like you have a good number of follies, hoping that you have one or two that take off over the weekend and the estrogen starts to rise nicely too.

AFM - Ultrasound went well today, lots of activity yet again too much to keep up with (side effect of my PCOS yet again). I had around 13 sizable follies measuring between 9.5mm and 12mm, I am going to continue the injections over the weekend and hopefully they continue to grow over the weekend. Next scan on Monday.

Ladydee - Good luck for tomorrow hun will be thinking of you

@thatwldbme - Thanks for the luck wished, I'll take it Oh Hun , make it a priority and book yourself a mini-break away! I was the same and then my DH won some major brownie points by booking us a couple of long-weekenders away and it was juuuust what I needed, really changed my whole head space after a crappy year or two. Just book it, even if it's camping on the beach falling asleep listening to the waves, doesn't have to be expensive if you want to save your penny's for all of this business. Well it's a start, grow follies grow! I believe the FSH is accumulative so hopefully your Oest takes off soon xoxo

Yay yay yay for all of that action on your scan @Heyside! You've cleared out the other lot of follies and I have every hope in the world that's these will all be a fantastic batch of mature-ready-to go ones. How are you going keeping up with your water and protein? Gah, I'm 100% behind you for this cycle Hun, nothing would make me happier than a bunch of perfect blasty's from you

AFM - Thoroughly enjoyed my acupuncture before and after and all went smoothly with my FET this morning. Let the TTW begin! Pleeeeease be a sticky little one!!!

This is our blasty-bubsicle as it was thawing and expanding again so not quite as pretty as our fresh one but I'm told it's just as good .......

Thanks @Ladydee. I just found out a friend of mine is expecting twins. Hmm I think mother nature gave her two by mistake. Hahaha.
On other news. I think my levels are going up, today I have CM. It's only the start at creamy. So Yay least I know myself it's getting there.
Oh my goodness! I love pics of this. It looks amazing. And I just feel and know this is your cycle hun. Let the fun TWW begin. big hugs and lots of baby dust your way xx
