Oh no @Buttercup ! So does that mean a chemical as you did have some hCG? Either way, that really really sucks, I'm so sorry I hope you have your hubby around so you can give each other lots of big, squishy cuddles xoxoxo

    AFM- Still on undie-watch.

    Hello lovely ladies!!!

Well it has been quite some time since I have posted- sounds like many of you have made awesome progress in the last little while! It has been great to read where you are all up to, and as always, the amazing support that you provide each other.

Well, I am back because I think I will be needing some of that support soon! Next week I stop the pill and try for my second round of FHS + LH and then hopefully IUI if I have a couple of juicy follies!!! My last round was cancelled, as poor response with just The FHS alone- twelve or so little follies that decided not to mature at all!! But at least it made my specialist realise that I am low in LH which will hopefully help next round.
Meanwhile, the size of my **** has grown significantly (thanks to being on the pill for a couple of months, and the previous round of injections, oh and possibly three weeks in the UK), I have decided to talk to my friends and family about what is going on instead of bottling it all up, and I have seriously made a commitment to myself to no longer do crazy hours and overtime at work.

So, look after yourselves and please let me know if anyone will be my 'cycle buddy' as I think I will start jabbing myself around the 1st of Sept.

Cheers to hitting the Medicare safety net!!!

    S. xx

ps sorry for the news buttercup

Welcome back @S234 ! Some time away from it all and a trip o/s sounds great and it's good that your FS has more of an idea on what he needs to keep and eye on for you too. Yeah, I've been trying to keep an eye on my diet as I've put on weight this year too and it just feels darn uncomfortable...yuck! I usually find it easy enough to stay steady at the same weight but I do find it ridiculously hard to lose any after I do lets some creep on.....I've made a few good changes this week so, hopefully that lasts! I'm due to start jabbing any day now so I'll be a little ahead of you....best of luck for you for this cycle

@Twinkley - sorry you didn't get quite as many as you were hoping for, I can see how you'd feel a little disappointed after such a great start but as they say...it only takes one! AND you have that one frostie to pick up in around oh.....a couple of years when you're ready to go again?! Congratulations on being PUPO! Stick and grow little emby, grow!! Have everything tightly crossed for you xoxo

AFM- still waiting on AF. Have woken up with such a sore throat this morning that I can barely swallow Has got to be the worst time ever to be sick!

    Hi ladies
Hope you don't mind me posting, I have tried to have a read every now & then to see how you're all doing, and can't wait to see you all out of here and into the DIG's (it WILL happen!) I wish you all the very best xxx

Twinkley- Don't be disheartened with numbers. My first cycle I only got 2 eggs of which only 1 fertilised was transferred and didn't stick. My 2nd cycle I only had 1 egg!!! I was absolutely distraught! But it fertilised and was transferred on day 2 and is now the 23week bump in my belly! So as they say it definitely only takes 1 good luck x

AFM - I had my appointment today and all went well, results have all come back fine and I have been given the go ahead to start treatment. I picked up my synarel from the clinic and had to take my first dose tonight (which was a double dose to start me off). I was dreading sniffing the synarel, I think mainly because I hate putting things up my nose . It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be though, I actually thought I had taken it wrong at first as I felt nothing and I was just telling DH that when the sensation started in the back of my throat. It was quite a delayed reaction which I wasn't expecting but I coped lol! I now stop taking my pill next Friday and start my injections the week after, I have only been put on a dose of 125 of puregon as my budget clinic only aims for around 6 follicles and I have had 4 before with 100 so hopefully that is enough. My plan of action now aims to get me to EPU around the 17th of September, now just need to organise my appointments around my new job I start next week.

@Heyside Thanks will keep you updated with any symptoms so far just really sensitive nipples but that could be from progesterone. Great news your starting your cycle hope it goes well and you get some nice eggies. The synarel does have a bit of a delayed effect I found if you sip on something yummy after taking it don't even notice. Overall it's not as bad as I thought would be. Keep us updated on how you go.
