Ladydee, sorry to hear about your progesterone levels. Hopefully it increasing with the pesseries.
Thanks for thinking of me. I have been Mia.

Mrs Hopeful sorry to hear she arrived

AFM I had my BT today & no surprise. It was a BFN. My folicles were really tony when my LH surge happened so I had to trigger. We did a lot of BDibg so even DH is abit upset & said it's frustrating.

My girlfriend had her 2nd baby today & I had been a mess all friggen day. Mostly because I am really happy for her & it was a perfect birth story. Also I had their daughter at my house whilst they went to Hosp. So I got to share in the excitement!

Heyside- any luck with your clinic about the payment for last cycle? I have thought about seeing an endocrinologist or even a dietician perhaps after I'm done TTC just to get some strategies in place now to hopefully help me later in life. As you'd know, PCOS can affect lots more in our bodies than just difficulty TTC such as increased risk of certain cancers, high cholesterol (my mom was just diagnosed) and diabetes (my grandma had). I'd be very interested to hear what they had to say if you did go down that path.

Rj- yep, I got normal acupuncture done and also this leave in one which goes on the top outside bit of my ear and just looks like a little square of bandaid that I leave there for a week until next session. It's just a tiny short needle spike.

Karmajane- I'd never heard of the clomid thing but it sounds promising , let us know of your FS decides to give it a shot

Oh Mrs Hopeful, I'm so sorry I really truly had a good feeling about this cycle for you, that really sucks Huge hugs, I hope you do some things nice for yourself like a nice long massage or something xoxo You probably don't even want to think about another cycle but don't forget you have some perfect beautiful frosties patiently waiting for you xxx

Thanks Aussiecarla. I'm so sorry about your BFN Congrats on your friend having her bub and huge hugs to you as I know all to well that happy/painful feeling you must be feeling, it really sucks

AFM- my scan went well. Bub is still measuring several days behind but my FS is happy with its growth from last week so if it keeps up this pace then all should be well I had my progesterone tested today through normal pathology so should have the results in the next couple of days...fingers crossed its shot up or stayed put. I get to have another scan in two weeks but this one is purely a reassurance scan for my peace of mind.

Aussiecarla - sorry to hear of you bfn it's sucks doesn't it especially when you put so much more effort in to dtd and it makes it feel like a chore sometimes. Glad you had a nice experience with your friends birth even tho it is so hard, you did well! xx

Ladydee - yay! Glad your scan went well. Hope your progesterone is doing what it's meant to too xx (I don't have any frosties, we only had 1 emby).

Anyway so I got a bit ahead of myself and AF hasn't arrived yet. It's on it's way I'm 100% certain of that. Yesterday I had a bit of spotting which was old blood then some fresh so expected it to go full flow from there but it has stopped so still waiting. But my throat is killing me it's so infected & swollen and feels yuck

Ladydee, oh woah! I have similar things on my ears from my Acupunturist. It is like a black bead but it is quite obvious, althoughg DH hasn't mentioned them so maybe only to me!
My Acupunturist told me to keep them in & press on them when I'm feeling anxious? She calls them calming points?? Is that what yours are for?

AFM, thanks for your kind words ladies. It was a lovely day & I got to meet baby Emily. Very sweet.
I am still waiting for AF to arrive so I can start FSH again. My FS appointment is on Wednesday so I am looking forward to hearing if she can tweak my meds for better quality eggs this time. I don't get to see her often, I liaise with the nurses which can be frustrating.
The clinic admin rang up to change my appointment & asked if I could do a phone appointment. Yeh good on ya ladies, I am certain it would be a rushed phone appointment & difficult to get a word in.

aussiecarla - Sorry about your BFN hun, this can be so frustrating can't it, big hugs . Congratulations to your friend hun, nice that you felt like you shared the experience and excitement with her. Good luck with your appointment, I presume you refused the phone call appointment, I always feel more positive when I have had an actual appointment with my fs instead of a brief chat on the phone.

Ladydee - My e-mail is being sent tonight regards the payment and where we stand, my nurse wont be in tomorrow though so probably wont hear anything until next week, expecting bad news but worth the try to see where we stand. My plan was to see the endocrinologist after all this ttc stuff to as my initial blood test results showed higher than normal cholesterol so think I best get things together, think I might stick with the original plan and do that, seems pcos is destined to take over our lives .

Glad to hear your scan went well hun, I am sure they will be keeping a close eye on you from here which is good, hope you get good results from your progesterone test too.

Mrs Hopeful - Oh wow must be so interesting doing midwifery, you will have such an inside view when it is your turn . Here is hoping that af stays away hun and it was just a false alarm, really hoping it is your turn hun .

AFM - First day of provera today for me, how many days does anyone else take it for before stopping the medication? My box says 3-5 days but I thought I had taken it for much longer in the past? Not complaining mind you as happy to get a new cycle started. Sending an e-mail to the clinic tonight to see if I can get any money back from last cycle but we will see.

Heyside, I think I was told 10days to take it for? Then the 2nd cycle I took it for 7 days as I wanted it to arrive sooner. I haven't heard 5 days.

    Hi ladies,

Hoping I can join in here as it looks like we will be starting injections on our next cycle after several rounds of clomid and 2 early miscarriages. Was just hoping to get some advice and maybe what we can expect in the way of what happens and also costs.

    Thanks so much

Sorry ladies have been mia due to starting a new job last week! Probably not the best timing!

Heyside - sorry to hear about the troubles you have had with your clinic. Hopefully you can get some money back, we pay them so much!
I found my FS who specialises in assisted fertility for those with PCOS. She knew what to look for in my blood tests and filled us with a lot of confidence.
When I was on Provera, I took it for 10 days then AF arrived 4 days later.

Mrs Hopeful - when is your blood test? Hope AF stays away!

Ladydee - did you get the results on your prog?

aussiecarla - sorry to hear about your BFN fingers crossed for your next cycle.

RJ85 - how did your scan go?

Teeja - welcome! I can't give you much in the way of advice - I started an OI cycle ($680) which was cancelled after two wks of injections then went straight into an IVF cycle. The ladies on here are very supportive so you've come to the right place!

AFM - My first hcg results came back at 2047 and my second bloods came back at 21000 I had my scan today and there is one little embryo (thankfully!) growing with a heart rate of 124bpm. Our FS has said we need to come back every two weeks for an ultrasound - I think this is because we did a HRT FET so I need to be on Progynova and Prog Pessaries until I'm 12 weeks.
