Default Show me your birthday party theme!

DS will turn one later this year & we started discussing themes already.. Id love to hear themes you've had for parties, particularly 1st birthdays & would love to see pics of your cake or decorations if you are willing to share.
    Thanks!

My dd2 is turning one in a few months and I've been spending all my free time on Pinterest. I seriously love that site! I'm following a brilliant party planner, her name is Kara. If you search for those words her page should come up. She had lots and lots and lots of party themes for boys and girls.

I don't have many pics on the iPad but DS had a western theme as he was born in the USA, we had his party on the Gold Coast while we were back on holidays. So much fun!

DS's Hoot cupcakes and bunting behind his Tonka play area. We also had Hoot invitations and Hoot-coloured plates and cutlery. ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1421062878.479156.jpg

Gorgeous pics!! Do you find a lot of the food goes to waste?? For the first few years I put so much effort into party food but the kidlets were just more interested in playing than eating :/
