I have an ergo. Love it.
There are other equally as good baby carriers out there that are structured like the ergo.. they are$$.
I've seen the mini Monkey carrier that was mentioned by a pp... It's structured and bub sits not hangs.. and is cheaper! I would've bought that if it was out when I bought my ergo. In saying that I love the ergo and am still using it with my 15 month old.

I've got the manduca and love it.... If only it had a pocket it would be perfect.

Baby bjorn - after trying others the ease of getting on/off wins it for me - I felt like I gained mobility again once I got one!

I liked my baby bjorn when DS was tiny, but I used to tuck his legs up in a frog position with a bunny rug so he was sitting, not hanging. Took us a little while to get used to the ergo, because he didn't like his legs being separated so far (and I'm only a size 10!). At 22months, he'll still sit in the ergo (which I go o/s heaps cheaper, and in zebra print, which I've never seen in Australia)

Boba all the way! Best carrier ever. Will be using the Boba wrap to start with this time around and then switching to the carrier once bubs is a bit bigger.
DH still uses the Boba Carrier with DS on his back who has just turned two. I would too but am currently pregnant.

Loved my ergo with DD4 but when she was little I used the Mei Tai wrap which was great when she was only a newbie.

Another ergo lover here, DH also happily wears it & it's quick and easy to adjust between our two sizes. DD falls asleep in it so fast too!

Manduca! It has a bigger body than the Ergo; longer straps, straps can cross over at the back, inbuilt newborn insert and so so comfy. Wish they made a toddler version! Tula makes gorgeous carriers too.

What's the difference between a Manduca and an Ergo carrier?

Manduca - I still put my 2yr old in it and I feel no pain or discomfort.
