Im so sorry Monnie. I would be frustrated too that there are no answers. little babies don't just end up with brain damage for no reason. As per other posters, can you request a transfer to another hospital to get them to review everything?

Big hugs. If you aren't ready to go home do not let them bully you to take him home. You need to be comfortable that you are both ready. See the dr and social worker. So you can discuss how you are feeling. I know it's hard when you're in the middle of all this. ... Just try to stand up for yourself or get hubby or a friend to speak up for you.
So sorry you and your family are going through this.

If you don't want to take him home yet put your foot down. Surely he's not stable enough to go home?

Don't settle for that hun, don't let them make you feel like you have to take him home. There is obviously something very wrong with him and I can't believe they expect you to just take him home when they have no idea what is going on. Can you speak to the Womens and Childrens hospital maybe? Huge hugs for you, such a terrifying ordeal

I can't understand why they want you to go home? How is he being fed and is he awake etc? What do they expect to happen?

I'm so sorry this is happening, I'm heartbroken for you, your family and especially for little Hugo. I can't imagine what you must be going through, I have such great news about him breathing on his own, to this.

I wish with ally heart and soul that a miracle will happen.

Still praying for you and him x

I'm sorry but that is just ridiculous ! How can they discharge him when you don't even know what was/is wrong with him ?? Can you transfer to a better hospital ?
