He is sitting up with the help of blankets finally! A little bit of progress
When L had an ear infection, I had to drop solids meals and water down his bottles (so two scoops instead of four). He was still vomiting entire bottles up so I had to go right back to 5ml every 5 minutes and work up from there plus the antibiotics, of course. Watch out for him being listless and for dehydration (when you press his skin, it takes awhile to go back to normal colour) and go to the hospital for IV fluids if need be.

Bottles are ok and he drinks water out of a glass already so he's been doing that. I dont ever adjust bottles. I just follow nappies & I know when kids dehydrated. (weight x mls) for them.

Poor L hope he's ok now.

Yeah, it took a couple of hospital visits and a GP visit before they realised because he didn't have a fever and nobody looked in his ears properly. I was also made to feel like I was making it up, panicky first time mum.

He's doing better than L! He won't drink out of a sippy cup and chokes when I try to help him drink water!

We have been sent home with some exercises. One arm isn't working as well as his other. (My left his right). Review in December as that's when he should have reached a few milestones. He's not sitting properly yet and bouncing back when falling (by that I mean stopping himself falling). So she hopes by dec he is doing that with his weak arm etc.

We have also got referral to speechy for feeding. Feeling good about today. She was lovely ☺️ also said he could build up spasticity so better to be working on it now.

If he hasn't reached it we will be going on NDIS scheme.

He also starts cc on Monday ☺️☺️

I'm really struggling with the past year. I've started seeing a psychologist and it's bringing up everything I guess in a harsh way so I will re read this because it's probably the only place I wrote anything down!

H- has met a couple milestones he's semi worming & crawling. Well I can't tell the difference. I'm going to call it crawling until I see the physio again but collapses on one side. Still a terrible sleeper. He's copying his sister so much! I can't believe it. When we sing songs etc he heavily gets involved. Seriously need a go pro.

I'm heavily depressed at the moment as I'm staying at my mums. Not seeing my husband until probably feb maybe not even the kids birthdays. I know people have it worse I keep telling myself this every single day. I really do. I donated what I left in QLD to shelters. Selling the rest off so Hubby can try and come back as he's quitting his job. We are in process of applying to tribunal for leniency for medical issues. So I hope they let us go

And as they say it can only get better😁

Sorry you're going through a rough time, hun. If it helps, H wasn't too far away from L's due date and L only just started crawling properly yesterday. He was commando crawling/worming around for ages with no interest in learning anymore. He also can't sit properly, either! Does H pull himself up on things at all yet?
